  • like any workout...if you don't push yourself it will be easy. I always push myself as hard as I can and make every move a major move. I didn't think it was easy at all and I have almost all of her videos.

I'm on day 20 and wanna throw in the towel also.....not sure if the last 10days will actually do anything
Hhmmm, i'd like to say don't quit but i know how u feel. I'd finish it and hopefully there will be a difference. Like tbf, despite the scales telling me one thing, i do feel a lot slimmer although i feel my stomach is still totally flabby :/ Its a tough one, i'd say finish it then at least you can say you got thru it.

Lol, same. Like through the 30DS there was about 2 times where i had to do the workout on a major hangover. Good knows how i got thru it but i did lol.

I picked up the new Kickbox FastFix last night and did the second workout this morning! (Would have started with the first, but arms are sore from yesterday's workout!) It is fast & intense! I felt like I was flailing all over the place just trying to keep up with all the punch & kick combinations, but I guess I'll get better at that as I keep at it.

I was surprised that it was literally 20 minutes! Her other workouts say that, but with warm up & cool down they come out to more like 30 for me, so was shocked when it was over so quickly. My HRM said I burned 162, but I'm sure it will be higher once I get the moves down. I definitely need to watch that tutorial all the way through!

I enjoyed it - out of time this morning or I would have done the third workout as well. Some asked if these are levels like on 30DS or RI30 where you move up in intensity - not that I can tell, I think they are just separate workouts, not levels, and they could pick and choose any workout or all of them to do on any given day.

Agreed- I can't believe that anyone would do any of JM workouts and call them 'easy'- certainly they vary in intensity, but I think its all about how much you put into it.

I did the third workout as well on Thursday and liked it the least of the three. Definitely the lowest calorie burn since you do some ab work too.

Overall I like this DVD because it's different and because it's big calorie burn in the shortest time of any of her previous workouts. But, I wish she had just done straight kickboxing and cardio instead of trying to mix in arms and abs into some of the levels. I guess if you don't have any other JM videos it's nice to have a program where you also get those areas worked out but for someone like me who relies on other videos for those areas it seems silly to take time out of an otherwise great workout to work my arms or drop to the mat to do ab work. I like the second workout on the dvd the best since it pretty much is just straight kickboxing and it's got the highest intensity. I think when I do pop this one in to get a qucik workout in that will mainly be the one I choose.

Ah I want it! But it's going to be a while until it gets to the UK. They still haven't imported Yoga Meltdown to PAL yet :grumble:

You guys convinced me that I have to buy this video. I think it will be a good one to add to my mix of videos especially to do in the mornings! Before work, I usually do a video (either Leslie Sansone 1 mile walk or Zumba Rush). I think it will be a good thing to do especially the abs workout. I have lost 23 pounds since the beginning of January on here. Most of my weight has been in my legs getting really tone. My stomach has gone down, but not as much as I want. But then again, once my waist goes down about 4 inchses, I will drop down 2 pants sizes. I want to really start concentrating on that. I know part of it is my genetics. My mom and maternal grandmother had a big chest and stomach. I have never been as heavy as them,, but definitely have their build.

Glad to hear. I was terribly disappointed with Shed and Shred
Gotta say, im pretty disappointed with 30day shred. Im on day 30 tomorrow and i havnt lost a sausage :frown: even though i have done really well diet wise. I can see im more toned but not by much :/ Quite gutted after all the hard work. Im hoping the no weight loss thing is muscle gain cause people have commented on me looking like i've lost weight and my work trousers are now hanging off me.

I'm pretty disappointed in 30DS as well, I haven't lost a single pound but a few inches, but nothing really to brag about and after all the hard work I thought it would be more. Also, my knees are killing me
Not just me then :frown: Infact, i gained quarter of a pound. I know thats nothing but i deserved a big loss tbh and im sure its same with you. I wish i'd have measured myself too, least i might have seen a difference then :ohwell:

im loosing 2lb a week and about an inch from my waist on 30DS and im def looking more toned, only on day 14 today tho x

i've lost 6lbs in 11 days doing the 30 day shred. but my knees are also killing me =/

I did Workouts 1 & 3 this morning - loved it! Burned 340 calories according to my HRM and the time flew by! I'm getting better with the kick & punch combinations, too.

I did level 1 yesterday..... I liked it... especially the suicides (running back and forth),and the superfast pushups. I think I will get better at the kick combinations as I get more coordinated, but liked the quick video overall. I'm supposed to get her Body Revolution in the mail today, so I'm trying one of those tonight, I think. :-)

OH, I got this on demand from Amazon, which was really nice, as I tend to crack DVDs or scratch them.

I like the suicides too! Although the past two mornings, my dog has decided that she also likes them - I start running across the living room, turn to race back and - BOOM - obstacle in the form of a labrador! LOL She thinks it's play time.
