    I made steel cut oats in the crock the other night and forgot to grease or spray it before putting everything in...big mistake! I'll definitely be checking out the liners or trying the foil trick next time. Otherwise, breakfast was great :happy:

    I think all oatmeal is pasty! :)

    But, I do the overnight using steel cut oats in the crock pot with apple chunks. Works as good as I expect. Definitely use the nonstick spray or plan on soaking the pot all day to get the pot stickers off.
    try the crockpot liners I do not fix anything in the crockpot without them/

    cleaning tip! Crock pot liner!! scooped out my oatmeal, and tossed the bag. Found with the sandwich bags in most grocery stores! Love the steel cut oats in the crock pot.
