Are cporn tortillas bad for you?

If you're trying to lose weight? I only ask because I eat about 2 a day with either chicken or eggs for little breakfast/lunch meals. They have about 22 grams of carbs in them but instead of bread or anything else too heavy I like to eat these as my main source of carbohydrates and the rest of my diet is mainly protein and veggies...and avocados with almost everything..

I consider "bad" to be whatever puts me beyond my goals.

Eat balanced, from various sources and meet your goals. Anything in between is fair game in my mind.

Corn tortillas are better than flour ones. I have two Trader Joe Fresh ground corn tortillas for 60 calories each, fish is low calorie, cheese wedge from weight watcher spread on instead of higher fat cheese, salsa and other veggies! Yum!!

IMO opinion they are not bad as long as it is moderated and within your daily food intake. Much better then flour for sure. I also get corn if available and even wheat from time to time.

I choose corn over flour and whole wheat flour over corn.
