I make my puppy sit to get out of a room/gate/back door/etc. In the morning he wants his food so bad he does it without me even saying anything or making "the motion." The funny part is he's so excited when I move the gate he runs past me and does a running circle, bolts down to the kitchen does one in there and then runs downstairs to the family room and runs around barking like a maniac. The circle kills me every morning. He's so cute!

My 3lb kitten bathes the 40lb boxer/shepherd's face. They also wrestle, it's hilarious!

Same kitten LOVES to lay on the recliner foot piece when it is out.

My 30lb black cat answers the doorbell like a dog. He also rolls over for belly scratches like a dog. He probably should bark instead of meow.

My Sookie kitten plays fetch with balled up bill envelopes. She also keeps a little hoard of milk ties, rubber bands, pens and my bracelets under the couch. When we pick her up to go to bed [she's not allowed to sleep in the bedroom], she'll just go limp and hang on to the blanket and give me big ol' yellow pleading eyes because she wants to stay. My cutie<3

I have this weird thing I do with one of my Mom's dogs. She's this little fat black and white shih'zu. I get her all worked up and then I hold her in front of me and I bare my teeth and growl. As soon as I do she'll start baring hers and growling (she looks scary!) then I go "Awww prue prue so sweet" and she'll stop growling and start licking me, then I'll bare my teeth and it starts all over, lol.
  • When I do crunches my cat sits on my stomach and stares at me. LOL It's like he's saying "whatta ya mean you're TIRED?!"

My dog does the same thing!! Everything she does is cute. Or she will jump back and forth over me.

When my dog tries to run after something and slips on the hardwoods...he looks like a cartoon character, revving up his legs.

When my other dog tries to shove her blanket into her water bowl. She's a strange one, that girl.

    3 things:

    1. When we howl... he howls too. I think he thinks we're singing.
    2. He tries to bury things in the blankets with his nose. He's not even moving the blanket... and it's in plain sight. Hilarious and adorable.
    3. When he barks and we tell him to be quiet, he has this rebellious mini quiet bark. So frustrating, but frickin' cute. I can't help but laugh.

My pup likes to stand up and touch my nose with her nose when I'm doing yoga. She always looks so concerned when I get all bendy. lol!

one thing cute one not so much

My cat Chloe has a toy that we call "Baby" cuz she carries it everywhere she goes. At night, she drops it on my pillow so I can watch it for her while she sleeps, I assume

Chloe is also obsessed with my treadmill and has now several times tried to climb on while I am running. You think she would have figured it out after flying into the wall but no. She swats at my feet with every step I take.

Where do you begin with 2 pits and 2 cats. I'll start with the dogs since we had them longer. Papa, my 5 year old lab/pit mix is the prettiest dog I've ever seen. He's all white with the pit body but the lab fur...gorgeous. Anyways, when he gets sleepy and lays his head down to go to sleep, he smacks his lips...lol. When he was a puppy, that's when we knew he was finally going back to sleep after his night peeing...lol.

Next is Geisha, our 4 year old pit. Her thing is grooming. She will groom your hand, your leg, your foot, your arm, whatever you let her groom. She grooms comforters and carpets too. So much that I have about 6 bald spots in my carpet...lol.

On to Mya. This is my daughter's stray cat turned queen of sheba. One night she ran into the house as my roommate opened the door to come in. She was soooo little and cute, we had to keep her. I swear this cat get lost all the time in the house. We'll hear a mow-mow come from her, then we call her and she comes running like "oh, there you are, or there I am???" It's so funny!

Last but not least is Tara, my cat that tricked me. One day after Mya took us over, I heard this heartbreaking meow/howl coming from under the neighbor's truck. There was this itty bitty kitten that had to be a littermate to Mya. It also seemed like something was wrong with her eye. So I go, pick her up and realize she has a brown patch right above her eye, where her eye whiskers are. By then she was already purring so I had to keep her...lol. Her retarded thing is thinking she can climb up the walls...she fails everytime but it sure is fully to watch.

    Sorry so long...lol

OMG, that is soooo stinkin cute!
  • My kitten Storm likes to play peek-a-boo; so he will hide and wait for me to walk around a corner or in a room and jump out to scare me. I have to respond, "Oh (high-pitch), you scared me!" and then he walks away like 'Mission Accomplished!"

    I just adore him!!!

Also, whenever I go into the bathroom and close the door, he sticks his paw under the door and moves it around like he's asking for spare change. Don't let me drop anything like a sock, as he will grab ahold of it real quick and snatch it under the door.

If Im sleeping...and move from one side to the other...she jumps over my body to always make sure she can cuddle with me near my neck or belly...TOO FRICKIN CUTE!!

We have a 3 month old lab mix (maybe border collie/pitt, we aren't sure). He sleeps in a kennel at night and every morning, my fiance lets him out to go to potty outside. As soon as he is let back in, he rushes into the bedroom and attempts to jump up onto the bed to cuddle with me until it's time for them to leave (My fiance has to leave earlier than I do, and he takes him to work with him).

My two Australian Shepherds are awesome and both have their little quirks...

When Willy wants me to get up in the morning, he comes over and puts his chin on the end of the bed by my face and huffs until I wake up. When I look at him, he avoids my eyes and looks around the room like "I heard that too, I don't know where that noise came from, interesting huh". Then when I shut my eyes, he huffs again. Repeat process until I get up.

Zephyr comes over and sits next to me or stands on her hind legs and puts 1 paw in the middle of my chest or the middle of my husbands and then looks off to the side kinda like "It's okay, my child"

I say "hugs" to my German Shepherd and he proceeds to get up on two legs and give me a huge hug. He also moans and groans while doing so! Also, when I say "I love you" he does a little moan back!! I absolutely adore him!

Another cute thing is when I close the blind to the slider door, he'll proceed to open it back up. I can do this over and over, I should really make a video and upload it to Youtube.

I just have to comment because my dog is soo special. Really special.

He pretty much owns the neighborhood. We live on a private road that is a dead end. We are at the end of the street. We let him out in the front yard (he refuses to go in the back, fenced yard, where the lesser dogs go). One day we couldn't find him, which was strange, because he is so good about staying within a five house radius.

We go across the street to our neighbors house to ask if they have seen him. There is Rudy, sitting on their sofa eating biscuits!!

We will get calls from neighbors all the time, "Rudy is over here watching tv with us, just wanted to let you know he was visiting. I've given him some cookies and I'll send him home later, hope it doesn't spoil his dinner!"

Rudy has 4 neighbors wrapped around his paw. They don't have dogs, but they buy treats for him. He has "trained" them, so they always come running and open their door when he taps.

One time when he was sick, he came home with a cone around his head and blood all over his body. (He had some sort of infection that made his head swell up to the size of a football, it had to get drained.) As he got out of the car, he collapsed on the grass because he was still tried from the anesthesia. Our neighbors come RUNNING over and crying hysterically, and all crowd around him crying over his body. He was fine, just a little bloody.

He loves all the attention and wouldn't have it any other way!

My dog Enya plays what's known as the 'Paw game' with me. She'll squat her head down, butt up in the air looking at me and make a little 'urf' noise and if I try to tap her paws, she whacks my hand, spins and jumps to avoid me touching the paws and when I eventually get them, she rolls on her back and mouths at my hands.

Ordinarily, like for examination and vet checks, touching the paws is fine :)

when its time for dinner, me and the dog do the "dinner dance".. i start dancing and she does this prancing thing where she gets on her toes and kind of marches around me while i dance.. all the while i'm singing "dinner dance, oh dinner dance" she loves it.. especially because she knows shes getting dinner soon.

my husband and i spend an hour each afternoon relaxing and watching judge judy, so the dog will go get a toy and bring it to us to play, we'll try and get it from her and right at the last second she snatches it away and chews on it.. this goes on for most of the hour...

shes such a good dog.. shes' a huge 80lb black lab and is 12 years old and still acts like a puppy... adorable :)

oh and clyde the cat will come into the bathroom when we get out of the shower and insists on being wet down all over his head and back.. weird cat lol

How cute!!!! Dinner dance, Dinner dance.....

Ours ........ Wanna play "Sprinklers"...... They love when I take the backyard water nozzle, and spray a figure eight... They run back and fourth, & back & fourth... jumping thru the water stream...

The little trick combo which earns a greenie is: Sit, Circle, Other way, Sit Pretty, Lay Down.

LOL that wake up thing made me laugh soo hard!

My dog used to lick but we didn't like our faces being licked to wake up, so now he will put his throat over your throat and keep swallowing until it wakes you up.

Aww, i love that! Our German Shepherd does the hugs thing too. And if you says "kisses" she will lick you. And if you are giving her a treat and ask her if she wants it, she lets out this gruff, low bark. And if you say, "I didn't hear you," she lets out a really deep bark.
