Figuring out how activity level

The last time I posted about this my average burn according to my fitbit was 2300 calories. Now I'm trying to figure out my activity level.

I don't think I am sedentary anymore but I'm trying to make sure. This 2300 includes my workouts. Without the workouts my average burn would be more like 1800-2000.

So am I still sedentary or am I lightly active?

what do you do for a living? that really makes all the difference in figuring it out because everyone burns calories differently depending on their weight

I am a church admin assistant 2 days a week and I homeschool my son.

I was spending most of the day sitting with my laptop but once I got my fitbit I started getting up every half an hour to an hour and walking laps around the inside of my house or my job so that I would average 10,000 steps a day (I get in about 6,000 steps not counting exercise and then working out adds the rest).

Bumping this because I'm still not sure which one to choose and it obviously affects how many calories I get.

I think you should put sedentary on here, sync mfp with the fitbit (if you haven't already), set your goal on mfp to maintain and make sure your remaining calories are 500 or thereabouts. Once you hit your calorie goal on here, the fitbit adds the extra calories that it calculates so it's not like you have to think about it.
