    That actually does look delicious! I have had the Russian style blood sausage and it was spicy and flavorful...it is a bit jelly like in the soup/stew though. Not an ideal texture.

    I actually meant that I DO like Morcilla ! :bigsmile:

    Squirrel (fed to me as a kid, couldn't eat it now though I recall enjoying it)
    Octopus (Took one chew and swallowed the rest of the bite whole so as not to be disrespectful)
    Frog Legs in Louisiana (again as a kid)

    That's it as far as out of the 'norm'.

    CANNED CAT FOOD....by an older brother- who twisted my arm behind me and force fed it to me....

    That's OK, years later I had him over for lunch and fixed him a tuna sandwich.....after which
    I reminded him of the incident and the vow I'd get even SOMEDAY......

    I've never eaten anything wierd (I've been a vegetarian since I was a kid) But when my husband was in the Navy he had monkey brains, balut, pan fried fluffy puppies (I add in the fluffy to remind him that my dogs are not appetizers), various animal testicles and the worst, the only thing he didn't like, was a sheeps eyeball, he said it pops when you bite down, couldn't get past it.
