    Hey Everybody,
I had a chance to look at the SI6 DVDs (start it up and burn it up) and it's not for me right now. Decided to stick w/ my beloved TJ and maybe incorporate some of the FIRM for additional strength training. Thanks for welcoming and encouraging me on this journey of ours. Nice to meet new people with similar goals! I hope everyone has a great Memoral Day holiday and enjoys family and friends. Have a wedding to go to tonight - my girlfriend is 40+ years old and is getting married to a wonderful God-loving man!!! I am happy for the both of them (and it's always nice to see someone find love and happiness - especially later in life!)
Props to all for getting their work outs in! Let's keep pushing!!

Jeannie: Hope your leg is better!! I read your post on another thread and no way you have a 25yr old son!!! You look amazing!!
Workout for today: 50 min TJ + 20 min Ab Jam - cals burned :783 Woo Hoo!!

    Take Care,
    Janet

Hi All!! I'm new to MFP and I've been doing SI6 on and off for the last few weeks. I'm mixing it in with my gym cardio and strength workouts- so I'm doing BIU 3 times per week. I'm on a beachbody blog for it as well and the ladies there have had awesome results with it. It really is a great workout. I also heard that they are redoing it and releasing a new version in August-- probably a little more up to date with the music, etc. Good luck everyone-- I'll be checking in with my results!!

    Good Monday Morning!

Well today is the first day of Ramp It Up and that is what it did! The last part of the video is what killed me when are you on the mat helping get a butt lol.

I also did Slim & 6 Pack. My poors abs keep on crying to me but I love it cuz that is where I carry most of my weight.

Since last monday when I started SI6 and 30 Day Shred I have lost 2lbs.

Harley: I know its your rest day so have a good day off. I am still sore but think Im going to do 30 day Shred in a bit!

Harley: I still drink but I drink vodka and water with crystal light in it. One drink is only 59 calories!

Well just finished Ramp It Up and Slim & Limber for a calorie burn of 427. My shoulders are killing me!

I ususally do 30 Day Shred too but Ramp It Up is kicking my butt so dont think I will be doing 30 Day Shred unless its later today after school.

    Have a great workout!

  • What matters is exercise for life without injury:

    Normally it is
1 week start it up, routine mastered then go to
1 week ramp it up, mastered then go to
    4 weeks burn it up

    slim & stretch every day.
Or depending upon your physical condition and goals you can modify .
for instance only do start it up until you master
then move on to next phase, master it, then move on to next phase.

Afterwards try another program like P90x, or others from Debbie Siebers.

The main thing is exercise everyone day of the week, with one day dedicated to rest or stretch. Personnally I do stretch x from P90x on rest day.

    Harley where are you?????

Well I just finished Ramp It Up and only burned 321 calories. My sinuses are draining down my throat and its harder to breath so didnt get as intense as I should have. I was also going to do Slim & 6 Pack but when I was doing abs in the video it was worse trying to breath so I just skipped it.

Hope everyone has a great day and workout!

I lost 30 pounds with slim in six about 2 years ago. I just started turbo jam which is another beach body program and it's working very well also. I decided to do slim in six today just to change up my routine a little.

With both of these series I've lost weight and inches!!!

    Good luck to everyone!:glasses:
