First Album I ever owned was Innocent Man by Billy Joel on Cassette or the Chipmunks Christmas Album on 33. I don't remember which was first! But I only ever had a handful of 33's and 45's.
I'm a little vague on which one I actually bought first but it was likely one of: Poison - Open Up and Say Ahh..., Cranberries - Everybody Else is Doing It, So Why Can't We, or Counting Crows - August and Everything After. All of those on Cassette.
First CD I bought was the Gin Blossoms - New Miserable Experience0 -

I was 10 or 11.
My first album (on vinyl) was "Billion Dollar Babies" by Alice Cooper. $3.99 at Woolco.
I was 13.
