Am I wrong in thinking you shouldn't have to ask? Sounds like childish insecurities to me.
Yep you're wrong, why? Because when he or she says that they are trying to prove a point and get you to notice something that slightly bothers them.

Why have to veil it? Can't one just say " hey get off the xbox and pay attention to me?"

When he was full on into EverQuest, I could stand naked in between my ex & the TV and he would yell at me to get out of the way because "he was on a raid"...hence the reason he know holds the title of "EX"...

Then rightly so that he is an ex!

Shame on you that she even has to ask that question. Wake up before you lose her.

 hahahahaha...What if she plays video games too???

Then the more she kills you, the more attention she is needing.

Apparently the majority of people these days do not understand how to communicate directly. My husband is constantly amazed that I don't hint at things or play mind games like other women.

If she's asking....she's really saying, show me you love me.

I bought my boyfriend a headset so when I am not playing too, I don't have to know when every air strike or haduken is arriving ;) That's love.

Him:"...Hey, you ready to go yet?"
Me: (with no pants on): "Hold on....lemme just kill one more sasquatch before the double XP event is over."
    Him:"...."

Therefore, he does not get in trouble for ignoring me during football. Win win.

If she has to ask, you are doing it wrong.

No it's: If she's talking, you're doing it wrong.

    Excellent

I only speak when spoken to, so don't have to worry about this.

I used my Christmas gift cards to buy an xbox kinect. That's love. And if I feel I'm being ignored, I've found that the best way to get his attention is to leap across the bed/couch and bite him. Works every time.

I say, "hey, let's do our daily quests and spend some time together"

Oh the joys of long-distance relationships where you play the same MMO
