how to describe womens body types
Since for some reason women get overly offended even when you try and compliment them we need a new method of compliment them.
you say: YOU HAVE A GREAT BODY, its a bit thicker
what they here: you have a great body, ITS THICKER!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Very common
also offensive words: thick, thicker, meaty, bigger, muscular.
not so offensive: skinny , twiggy
so heres a thought unless has some better ideas= DESCRIBE BODY TYPES WITH NUMBERS
" yeah, i like my women at about a 20%"
ehhh??? ehhh??? no?
just tired of offended women when im trying to give a compliment

You can never say anything about a woman's body type without offending most I swear xD I have noticed this too!0

You don't have to throw in the "It's a bit thicker"
How about just... "You have a great body"
That's all I need to hear. You're not an expert, so you don't need to use adjectives :P0 -
rather than say "thicker" why not say "you look more toned"
I don't want to be told "you look thick"
i got the compliment "You look fantastic" from a complete stranger the other day...and he wasn't creepy looking, actually kinda cute.0 -
i just like to be told my body is simply awesome. (but ~not~ a wonderland)0
-
Don't try to decribe it, you can't win that way. Just a "you look great" works fine0

Things I would love to hear about my body:
Fit
Curvaceous
Voluptuous
Sexy
Awesome
Hot
Feminine
Things I do not want to hear about my body:
Bony
Droopy
Thick
Sturdy
Better than it used to be <
I *hate* that one!!!0 -
My husband believes most women are 98% crazy. I'm only 2% crazy in his opinion, but when that 2% flares up, watch out, so I'd stay away from the numbers and just say "you look great!" and leave it at that.0

Don't forget about "tight" as a positive. I like being told I have a tight body.0 -

Most of the words you'd like to hear describing your penis shouldn't be used to describe her body.0 -
Sorry, that some of us don't know how to take a compliment.
I've gotten alot more laid back about compliments since I've lost weight though.
I like the 20% thing though. If all women knew what you were talking about, I actually think it'd work... I think that's my nerdy side talking though. I like hearing numbers and specifics like that.
Then again, you get women who get peeved about everything no matter what. I'll take whatever compliment I can get.0 -

Less is more. Keep it simple. Get a thesaurus...and look up other words for beautiful...like stunning, gorgeous, etc.
And not just our looks but compliment other things like our intelligence or our outfits!!
Actually, always compliment a woman's outfit. We take A LOT of time getting ready. We put a lot of thought into it. It would be nice to hear how sexy/beautiful/hot we look in it! Tell a woman she looks FANTASTIC!0 -
Just don't do it. Unless she asks you how she looks or if she gets dressed up/puts in effort. Other than that-just don't. At least that's my opinion. And only times I would want to hear anything on how I look.0

Someone once told me I looked very "robust." I know he meant it as a compliment, but not the sort one wants to hear!0

This really made me think i really do always get offended when guys try and use descriptions in their compliments I agree with others that say just go with a "You have a great body"0
-
Not sure why you have to have categories.... are you an engineer?
A simple "you're looking great" should please most women - just don't use a tone of surprise or shock - that can come across as "you're looking great, but you really didn't look great before".
I think my message is that it's all about tone and context not just words. If that seems too hard, stick to "great to see you", it's a safer option!0 -

Men can't win. I will always second guess and misconstrue everything they say (or don't say!)...lol It has more to do with our own personal insecurities.
I have been obsessed with making my shoulders smaller since this personal trainer told me I had broad shoulders.
Later I learned that he thought it was very $exy...but I still feel self concious showing these shoulders off now...lol0 -
