I feel like the guys are wildly ignored

on this site with their NSV and progress pics... It's like if a girl posts a small NSV there's a 20 page thread about it, but if a guy posts a pretty big one, it's like 5 respsonses.

I don't think that's fair, and I'm a girl. Maybe we should try to be more supportive on this site instead of always causing drama!

As one of these "guys" I disagree. I get loads of support. I think the main issue is that interactions on this site really are dependent on give and take. I think typically guys interact less on here. There are many reasons for this. It is hard to tell a girl she looks good without it coming off as creepy (especially as a married man). And giving bro love is often just awkward. But for us guys that really do make an effort to comment as much as possible, our friends (male or female) seem to reciprocate that encouragement.

Very true--I know I'm guilty of it. I think women forget that guys are self conscious about their bodies too, even though they may not act like it! Now that I think about it, I probably should start commending my own bf for his hard work since he's been hitting the gym pretty hard the last month or so.

I don't even care if I come across as creepy - I love giving encouragement and support to my male friends!!! I think it really depends on the people you surround yourself with.

I try and be as vocal as possible on here and I get just as vocal a response back from both men and women. Doing this motivates me to go the extra step so I have something to contribute to the mass of friends all loosing and talking about what they have lost.
