    My lovely wife hits me everything I announce my scale victories, but is otherwise she is very supportive.

    I don't know the numbers but I feel a truth to what you are saying, soon I will probably be posting before and after pics when my 3rd year since starting passes.

    I try to support men wherever possible - I'm all for men being in great shape!

    But I do find that they don't post under Success or Support nearly as often as the women, perhaps because women have been trained to be more selfconscious and need more reassurance about their appearance, whereas men are more likely to accept themselves as they are - or maybe just to not ask for others' opinions.

    Let the before/after pic posting begin!

    It don't mind me none I've been ignored almost my whole life so I always kept to myself but since I joined MFP I actually opened up a little and posted some pictures that many in my family never seen.

    I noticed that.....So I just make comments... and do not POST OEM things.... Sometimes when a man post pics... Its taken the wrong way... esp by their spouse..... I would love to do before and after,,,, But I would get a mouthful later

    As one of these "guys" I disagree. I get loads of support. I think the main issue is that interactions on this site really are dependent on give and take. I think typically guys interact less on here. There are many reasons for this. It is hard to tell a girl she looks good without it coming off as creepy (especially as a married man). And giving bro love is often just awkward. But for us guys that really do make an effort to comment as much as possible, our friends (male or female) seem to reciprocate that encouragement.

    This is right , Think some guys just don't inter act or brag as much as the girls do! :huh: just saying.
