    Erm... okay! I'll go. Consider this my work-in-progress. I know you wouldn't be able to tell anyway in the first pic because I'm not flexing, but believe me I started out with zero muscle. Been strength training for about 2.5 months.

    Nice to see so many women lifting weights!! Heavy lifting has done wonders for me - current lifts: squat: 135lbs, bench: 105 lbs, bicep curls: 25lb dumbbells. :flowerforyou:

    This WHOLE thread is amazing! Ive been wanting to lean up and get some more definition lately, and thought I'd up my cardio,but seeing this, I think I'm gonna start lifting heavier instead. My only issue is that I dont wanna lose strength at pole, and I always feel weaker after a body bar sesh. However, maybe lifting heavier and less reps will stop this happening :)

    If you're lifting an amount of weight where you'll fail in the 5-8 rep range, with proper sets...your strength will improve incredibly quickly. Even on a realistic deficit.

    I wouldn't recommend grabbing a pole right after though :).
