I've suddenly developed a new fear for vampiric fruit.....

"The belief in vampire fruit is similar to the belief that any inanimate object left outside during the night of a full moon will become a vampire. According to tradition, watermelons or any kind of pumpkin kept more than ten days or after Christmas will become a vampire, rolling around on the ground and growling to pester the living. People have little fear of the vampire pumpkins and melons because of the creatures' lack of teeth. One of the main indications that a pumpkin or melon is about to undergo a vampiric transformation (or has just completed one) is said to be the appearance of a drop of blood on its skin."

So my car is a vampire? And my mailbox, fence, possibly my cat*? My barbecue grill? This is alarming.

*I know cats are not inanimate. But why take the chance?

The Dark, deep water, dogs, sheep, cows, sloths, chickens, pigeons, ravens, crows, werewolves, being watched, moths, wasps, butterflies, tall women, short men, midgets, aliens, mormons, frogs, hedgehogs, turkeys, emus, sudden and loud noises, boobah, the bear in the big blue house, crowds, death, monolids, small hands, big noses, erm... I'm bored now. This is about half of my fears.

Failure, not being able to change for the better, something horrible happening to the people I love... I have some pretty standard fears, I think. Heights make me dizzy if there's no guard rail between me and the drop. I can sometimes get weirded out swimming in lakes or the ocean if the water is super deep and I can't tell what's beneath me.
