Has anyone seen my motivation? I seem to have lost it....

I'm a new mom to a beautiful 6 month old baby girl. I work a full-time (8-5) and also own a horse that I have to go and take care of every night, which takes me about an hour. My fiance and I work completely opposite shifts, he stays home with the baby during the day while I work, and we switch off when I get off, he goes in. So I am left at home in the evenings, basically playing mom, housewife, etc...I just cannot seem to find the time, energy, motivation to get myself on my elliptical that is patiently waiting for me in my living room, that I purchased at the beginning of this year (with all intentions of getting on it in the evenings, once the baby is asleep). But that never seems to happen. I tried the whole waking up an hour before I need to get ready for work to get on my elliptical, but that only lasted 2 days...I've tried watching what I eat and not going over my calories, but I've found that that does not work for me. I guess I am the kind of person that needs to exercise to lose weight. I have about 50lbs to lose but I am feeling helpless at this point.

Hello Girl, I know exactly how you feel, my husband also works nights and I am left home to take care of our three kids alone, and its hard. I would suggest mabey dragging out the stroller and taking that sweet baby girl for a walk every evening. It might help to get your blood flowing and give you more energy. I gained a ton of weight with all of my pregnancies. It really sucks, but you just got to keep your eye on the prize. Good luck to you and god bless :-)
