    You've never knowingly met an Italian and you think they might be scary different.

    rent GOODFELLAS, its very realistic(it actually is).

    I didn't understand anything u said other then rent good fellas .....it is in my top ten movies though!

    I think this answers your question DM. The answer is yes.

    OP: Italians are not different than any other people. There's no special rules for acting around them. Just be a polite and hard-working employee as you would working for anywhere else. Just don't call them "EYE-talians."

    i currently reside in atlanta ga .... any helpful info as far as in personality ....do's and don'ts... and any other insights as far as in working around them .....understanding the women and the men ....? there english isn't to good, although I have observed they are a hard working good hearted people .....F.Y.i all there food is fresh....fresh dough good pizza .....fresh salad....fresh pastas .......mmmmm....

    Where in the world did he say he was afraid of them? He just isn't familiar with them and asking questions....i swear mfp gets worse and worse.

    To the OP: Everyone is different, not all italians are the same, just as every race.....but one thing is most are loud, straight forward and light hearted people(you will hear more jokes than at a stand-up show, most likely). And they use their hands in talking....a lot. But i'm not italian and i'm all of those things as well, so it just differes from person to person. They are all about respect, as the poster below me wrote, and all about family. Just find out for yourself their personalities and learn who they are as individuals instead of as a "race".

    From the Italians I've been around, they love to laugh and appreciate honesty. Work hard and you'll succeed there. They're so much fun! BTW I would try to learn some basic Italian. It is such a fun language and beautiful if spoken correctly.
