I have kettlebell's, bosu ball, and a jump rope. I do lunges and squats. If I do not know how to do something or if I want to find a new exercise I surf youtube and watch that. I have a gym membership but only use sometimes. I just got Insanity last night and that is my next challenge :)

I follow the Chalean Extreme Program.
Or you can look for Jamie Eason's program at http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-easons-livefit-phase-1.html . She has a great program as well...

    I love this website:

    http://www.strength-training-woman.com/strength-training-exercises.html

Most of the exercises detailed require minimal or no equipment, and can be adapted based on what you have available.

Stephyshoes I love you! This is a great link! I've never done strength training before because i thought of myself as "strong enough" - but I feel now that it's a great way for me to move towards a healthier body.

I have a bunch of free weights at home. It can be expensive to buy them, but once you have them, you can use them forever. I have weights that range in size from 2lbs(which I never use) to 20lbs. Free weights are better than machines anyway.

I do yoga and walk. I guess the yoga could count as a gym for me because I pay for it. I don't thnk you need a gym to build muscle or to lose weight. There are lots of options on TV. You can even get dvd's at the library:-)

"You Are Your Own Gym" by http://www.marklauren.com/

I've got the book and the iPhone app. The exercises can be done with body weight and some common household objects.
