"I just won the lottery!"

That's what I'll be saying when I win this mega millions jackpot!

Okay, so I spent $2 on two tickets. First time in my life. Not too shabby as far as holding out on pointless gambling goes.

But I wanted to ask you guys...

What would YOU do if you won the lottery?

Save it, spend it, donate it, invest it? Some combo of the four? On who or what? Something else entirely? I wanna know!

And good luck to all who played. But BEST luck to MEEEEE! Mwuahahahhahaaaaa!

I would build a house, with lots of land.
Then houses for my mom, my sisters, and in-laws.
    Then take a trip.
    Then donate a whole bunch.
Then bank the rest and live off of it :)

That is, probably, the best plan ever!

Lol, I made a thread about this last night! I'm not playing it right now, but I might next week if it's still where it's at. I'd buy a nice house for me, a nice house for my mom, cars for me, my boyfriend and my mom, my daughter's college fund, a trip to Disneyworld, and a few million put away for when my daughter turns 25 to spend how she sees fit (she's only 2 right now lol)

A man rushes into his house and yells, "Honey, pack your bags!! I just won the lottery!"

The wife says, "Omigosh! That's great! What should I pack? Warm clothes? Summertime clothes? We are we going?"

The man answers, "I don't care where you go. Pack, and get the f*** out!!!"

  • I would buy a bigger house and new cars for my husband and I. Give some to my family and donate a lot to the MSPCA and other charities. Save the rest.

I would build a self-sustaining house (my own electricity, heat and water!) out in the country close to my mom and sister...

and prepare for the zombie apocalypse.

I'd buy Montana. The whole state. So, if you live in Montana, you better start coming up with a good reason as to why I shouldn't kick you out as soon as it's mine.

I would buy an island, build a house on it and live the rest of my days never stressing about a roof over mine and my daughters head, or what bills to pay or not pay, and plenty of food in the fridge.

I would tithe 10% to my church. I would pay off my bills and my current home, invest some and move to Oklahoma where my family is and build my husband his dream gun shop and me my house. Then we would live comfortably. I would also help out my family but with caution.

I'd also buy a green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel!).

Invest the great majority of it, but then pay off all the debt for each of my family members, buy both my dad & his wife and my mother-in-law RVs, and spend an absurd amount of money on the most deluxe family reunion.. flying everyone out, 5 star resort, etc.

Oh, and take like 4 months to go backpacking all through Europe with the hubs.

    1. Hire a personal trainer so I can kick the rest of this weight Hollywood style ;-)
    2. Build my daughter's school a playground.
    3. Donate to the rec center to redo the pool(it's 40 yrs old)
    4. Finish my house so I can live in it while....
    5. Buy land and build my dream house.
    6. Hire a nanny/nurse/therapist to help with my autistic son!

Then set up education accts for the kids, donate a bunch more, invest alot and my husband would probably buy some toys :-)

I would get a lawyer and call my financial advisor. I would put money into trust funds for my kids & younger sister. Pay off my house and rent it out. Purchase a house. No more than 2,000 sq feet. That is what I have now...can't handle much more. It will be in the same city but in a different area where no one knows me. Pay off my mother's house. Pay off my car. Buy hubby his truck. Give my job the "middle finger". Give my sister n laws, brother n law and mother n law a little change. Hook up our grammys also. And then bank the rest and live comfortably. The end.

    1. I would give at least a million to everyone I love, including some of my favorite Christian songwriters.
    2. I would never clean house again!
    3. I would look into starting a fun business that would employ lots of people, something that would benefit the community (or the country or the world??)
    4. I would travel.
    5. I would try really hard never to forget that having money doesn't make you better than anyone else!

I'd do all that stuff, too. But, I'd also go to the store, and suprise people by buying their stuff for them. The mom at the grocery store with the 2 little babies, cart full. Yup, just pay for her stuff! Go to the gas station and pay for everyone. Same at a restaurant. And leave a monsterous tip :-D Oh, it'd be SO much fun!!
