The fact that you still refer to her as a friend irritates me !!!
Hoping this isn't a real post0 -
I work at a convenience store and I can't tell you the amount of times I want to step in and tell people "please don't buy that!" I feel bad that as I get healthier I almost get disgusted by what some of the people will buy. I feel even worse for the overweight children. :frown:
Oh jeeze, that must me hard.Sorry to hear that!

Well, yeah. I probably shouldn't refer to her as a friend. wasn't sure what to call her actually.. I couldn't say bi---, because that just sounds like I'm talking about a female dog.0 -

Your are right to say she had no right to say those things because she had been fat before, but really, even if she had been skinny all her life, she had no right to say those things. That was just mean.
thank you. I was hoping I did the right thing.
you absolutely did and maybe she'll think twice before doing it again, or she should.0 -
You're a real hero for sticking up for those fat kids!
You irritate me
Well if that wasn't random and rude . . .
Kids are kids whether they ar fat thin or otherwise. Treating anyone badly is wrong. I was hoping your comment was sarcastic but do you actually think you were being nice saying that?
She stuck up for kids and I congratulated her. Was it my use of the adjective "fat" that bothered you? She said they were overweight...0 -

Care to explain why?
No lube?
Sometimes lube is needed to smooth things out0 -

To the OP...good for you!0 -
She picked on 6 overweight kids in the mall, and bought a pie for one and threw it in a kids face who was pudgy.
Lolled hard at this, thanks for a great post. Would read again A++
ridiculous. This wasn't written as a comedy.0 -

Couldn't we just call them portly? I like portly. it sounds smashing!0 -

Thank you for letting me know. I feel a lot better about it now. Just hope those people are okay though.I wanted to give them all hugs and try to makeup for what she had done.

There it is all lubed up.... =P0 -
This is common on the MFP forums too, which is doubly sad.0

Fat hate irritates me.
Now I'm confused. You used the same adjective, so it can't be that. Have I hurt your feelings prior to this?0 -
It just brings a tear to my eye to think about all those lubed up, portly li'l pie-faced kids.0

... b/c you're the only one in this thread allowed to be irritated by what others are saying? do i have that right?0 -
Honestly, the more I think about this poor boy getting a pie in his face, the sadder it makes me feel. Can you imagine you're just hanging out in the mall and some c*nt comes up to you and throws a pie in your face? Poor, poor kid.0

Fat isn't a bad word! It's a describing word. B!tch and Cvnt are bad words, and both of those have been thrown all over this thread.0

Well sure, but nobody's batting an eye at those describing words being used.0
