Whole grain toast and peanut butter.0

Not supposed to eat late is a bunch of nonsense0
-
calories left? Eat em. . . .0
-
It doesn't matter when you eat....Are you under your calories for the day ---> Yes = Eat, No = Don't Eat1
-
I eat something. The calories aren't going to change because of the time of day.0

Bollocks. Eat if you're hungry.0 -
eat if you have calories left, If not drink water. Or eat something low in calories like vegetables.0
-
Go to bed. I'm not hungry if I'm sleeping. But I wouldn't have an issue w/eating either - I don't believe in that don't eat after X:00 nonsense...0

Eat!0

Eat if you're hungry. Just don't go overboard on your calories.
Not eating calories late? Nonsense.
I have yoghurt before bed 9 times out of 100 -
I eat. If I don't, I'll wake up in the middle of the night and binge eat. Better to eat before I go to bed and control it, then end up with uncontrolled eating.
There's nothing wrong with eating before bed as long as you are within your calories for the day. Many studies have proven it isn't WHEN you eat, but WHAT you eat. Most people eat chips, cookies, ice cream, etc before bed and push their calories too high for the day - THAT is why they gain weight.0 -
eat!0

Yeah, the whole "Don't eat late" thing is crap. If you're hungry, there's a reason. Eat, just eat smart. Like I love me some almonds as a snack. Keep me full, and don't have a sugary effect. Everybody wins.0

Eat something. Doesn't matter if you are close to your calorie goal or far under, your calorie goal is already a deficit and MFP usually calculates everything pretty low. I usually try to eat some sort of protein right before bed or I wake up really hungry.0
-
Eat. But something reasonable. Naked 1am ice cream eating because i ignored my hunger at 9pm is the reason i can't quit MFP.0

Based on your username, I think the bigger issue is sex before bed. Just say no!!!0

I am always hungry at night and I like to eat at night so I always plan ahead and save some calories for my nighttime snack and then I eat. I have never done the don't eat after whatever time. I have always lost weight so why start it.0
-
I'll just eat a little something with carbs and protein. The toast and peanut butter suggestion was fabulous. Or some banana with peanut butter...pretty much anything with peanut butter is golden!0

usually for me I am right at my calorie goal for the day so if i am still hungry and at my calorie goal i drink LOTS and LOTS of water.....but as 100 people said before me if i am under and about to go to bed i eat. No such thing as eating late being bad for you.0

eat even if you don't have calories left, just try to keep it below 200 so that you still have a reasonable deficit. Learn for the next day.
I honestly have to plan to have spare cals for before bed most nights.0 -
Eat some Greek yogurt and maybe not carbs.0
-
I like to eat jerky or popcorn but then I usually end up drinking too much water with it and have to get up to pee in the middle of the night. Cottage cheese with some peaches is a favorite but my abolute favorite that I dont normally have enough calories for is raisin bran cereal. MMmmmm.0

 I don't get how you guys wake up because of hunger! I can be starving before bed and sleep like a baby. Actually not like a baby, since they get up every 2 hours crying for a snack....0 -
Listen to your body and eat.... just nothing that is going to keep you awake - carbs/ sugary crap / fruit etc. Something protein maybe....0
-
If I still have calories left, I have a caramel rice cake or maybe some almonds with water. That usually pacifies me for the night. If none left then I go with flavored water and my body "thinks" it got something.0
-
I eat... But make sure its not something too heavy, nothing worse then trying to sleep on an empty stomach0

Try and eat 4-5 hrs before bed, but make sure its full of PROTEIN to help keep you fuller longer and go to bed at a decent time. The longer you stay up, the likely you will become hungry. Its not good to go to bed hungry either, it will just disrupt your good night sleep. With that said, drink water and what I do is snack on a half cup of multi grain cheerios. If you end up getting really hungry even after dinner. I normally eat a small portion of greek yogurt with bananas or strawberries or just alone. This will help curb your appetite. I also snack on 70% or higher chocolate if I am craving something sweet. If you dont like any of these, eat some veggies or fruit. They are better than any other choice you can make before bed.0

My favourite is raisin bran with skimmed milk before bed )
I find if I don't eat at night, I wake up hungry the next morning. And then I'm hungry all day! Personally, I've moved my meal times around. If I eat supper at 8:00, I don't usually get hungry until the morning.
(And remember, years ago, eating at 6:00 was considered eating an early supper.)0 -
i eat chocolate... seriously!
often my bedtime ritual is a small (ie a single square of good dark chocolate, prefereably 70% cocoa), savoured slowly, one nibble at time melting on my tongue, no chewing *L* it's amazing how long it lasts that way, plus it's low in calories, very low in sodium, full of antioxidents, and so satisfying!0 -
Banana and milk have the amino acid tryptophan which will help you sleep0
