I was there! Camped out for tickets at Oxford Valley Mall.
Sadly, though, my first concert was with my mom in 1978(ish) - Dr. Hook and Sha Na Na. :blushing:

1993, Jethro Tull with Emerson Lake and Palmer opening. I was 13, with my dad, and the youngest person there, probably. Jethro Tull was then and still is my favorite band. Ian Anderson is about a million years old, and still touring/making albums/farming on his off-time.

The year was 1985, and somehow this Illinois 14-yr-old convinced his parents to let him see Loverboy and Dokken while we were vacationing in Florida. To this day, I'm still shocked (SHOCKED!) that my anal-retentive over-protective parents let me go unsupervised!

I sold cokes and hot dogs at the University of Colorado's fieldhouse during football games when I was in 7-9th grade. The Who performed when I was in 7th and my mother wouldn't let me go...she let me work the Simon & Garfunkel concert the following year when I was 13 or 14. So...yeah. Simon & Garfunkel. At the time I thought they were dorky cause it was "my parents' music." Now I feel fortunate to have seen it.

My first actual ROCK concert was in 1985 when I was in 10th grade...Bon Jovi and Ratt.

I don't know the year, mid 80's sometime, I was between 4-6 yrs old. Went to a Hank Williams Jr. Concert/Rodeo. The stage was in the middle of the rodeo area and they were roping calves during the concert.

My parents took me and my brother to see Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (1978) at the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh. Then saw the Little River Band and the Eagles in 1979 at the Civic Arena (Pittsburgh) ... front row seats that my brother won from a radio station. I was 14/15.

December 3rd, 1999 Harpos Detroit. Slipknot, Biohazard, Mudvayne, and the Stepkings.

I got hit in the face with a pipe and got to meet all of the bands. It was awesome.
