46 lbs in 4weeks

At 416lbs I had enough. Was referred to this site by a relative and liked what I saw. No ads or show biz stuff.
Played with it a few weeks not committed. Until the day I saw myself in a mirror at a store. Wake up time
Starting point was 2500 calories a day. Began taking coconut oil, honey in between meals for energy and cravings. Added peanut butter , mixed them up and had a creamy peanut butter. Took that at first three times a day between meals now down to twice a day. No cravings or lack of energy. Am able to plan meals based on need rather then cravings. Down to 1200 lbs a day with no energy loss or crash and burn

Thats fantastic!! tell me the ratios of the coconut oil, pb, and honey. I am needing something in the afternoon to halt the hunger and give me a little energy. Do you have the calorie count as well?
  • Super awesome!! Good for you! :glasses:

    Sorry about the delay
    equal parts on all three
    ie 1tsp honey
    1tsp peanut butter
    1tsp coconut oil
The first two weeks whenever a craving would come on I would take the above. Now into the fifth week cravings are all but gone down to one mix after breakfast and one sometime in afternoon. I have found out with the cravings gone now the meals can be prepared for nutrition instead of just got to eat no matter what it is setting

Yes just equal parts, mix together you have a creamy peanut butter. Looked up honey and coconut oil both have great health benefits. gone are the days of crash and burn, depression and so on

Wait what?! 46 pounds in 4 weeks?! Is that safe? Watch out for your gallbladder!! You only have 1! What did your doctor say?

With your mixture of coconut oil, peanut butter and honey you are keeping your metabolism going. If you eat every 3 hours you will find that your body is ready to go all the time. From the time you wake up until dinner, just eat in between meals. You might want to have an apple and peanut butter, or celery and peanut butter to switch it up. I also have cucumber and blue berries or strawberries.

It depends on the protein counts that I have for my main meals. Just keep on doing what you are doing. These are pure ideas when you are looking to reduce the calories on the snacks but still maintain them.

    Good luck and GREAT WORK!!!

Keep going. Remember that old joke how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. I know I have to remember that I didn't put this weight on overnight I am not going to take it off overnight.

  • good for you. Keep up the good work. Little steps add up. I'm sure it didn't go on over night, so be patient w/ it coming off.

Did the OP state that they are now down to 1200 calories a day? At that weight, is that healthy? I have always read and been told that the more weight we carry, the more calories we need to sustain our bodies (the higher the BMR).

Please make sure you are taking care of yourself. Wanting to loose weight is one thing, but getting healthy and maintaining your health should be a priority as well.

Way to go! Don't get discouraged when your weight loss slows down, the smaller you get the slower it will come off.
Make sure to consult a Dr along the way to make sure you are staying healthy!!
