Strange foods your pet likes
So I just discovered that my cat likes apples...because while I was holding the core he came up and started licking it. Never heard of a cat that likes fruit. I checked the webernet to make sure they were safe for him (onions, raisins, and chocolate are a no-no), and after finding out they are ok, cut some tiny chunks off of it for him and he ate them! Doesn't surprise me too much.....this cat is quite odd.

My son's cat will eat anything! She's so funny! If we accidently drop a piece of food on the floor, she's there in an instant. She loves biscuits. Never tried giving her apples though. We'll have to try it and see if she likes them. I'm betting she will. :laugh:0

My dogs LOVE apples. I guess it's the sweetness. But they also love asparagus, which I found a little odd! And baby carrots!0

Hahah, that reminds me of something my cat did the other day. I had just finished working out and taken my shoes off. My cat started batting at my feet and chewing on my toe. I said (yes, I talk to the cat), "That's got to be the worst thing you'll ever taste".
He then turned around and started licking his rear end. I guess I was wrong.0 -

I had a roommate in college that had a cat who loved pizza/ Any time we'd order, we actually give the cat a piece of her own. If we didn't we'd have no peace while we tried to eat :laugh:0 -
My doggies (4 rescues) all love weird things. Broccoli, Cauliflower, carrots, apples, and bananas! That is just some of the things I wouldn't think they would like but do....BUT...when I start cooking bacon or get out the peanut butter....look out because you would think I was making crack! (in which times I do refer to them as my bacon crackheads!)0

My cat loves avocados. We had (emphasis on "had") a mesh bag of them lying around, and he jumped up onto our kitchen table and started biting them! We can't leave bell peppers out either!!

My cat will eat pretty much anything. She loves french fries, yogurt, garlic bread, peas, plastic (I know - I have to keep plastic away from her), crackers, etc... Anytime we have something new she begs for it until she can get a piece0

My cat one time gobbled up whole Mini-Wheat that fell on the floor like it was chicken. It didn't even have milk in it! So weird, I laughed so much.0

My golden also ate an entire bottle of Remadyl cost her a nice long stay in emergency vet clinic for 3 days and 2 nights!0 -
My kitty (now deceased...
) used to like coffee and plants. She would eat real plants yes, but she would also chow down on all of our fake plants while we were asleep. Once, we put the plant on top of the fridge overnight, and by the next morning she had still managed to eat it. She used to drink coffee with her paw (dunk the paw into the mug, then lick it clean). Of course she wasn't ALLOWED to do this, but as soon as we turned our back she would be into it. Her twin sister (also deceased ) would eat anything. Once she ran off into the basement carrying a sealed loaf of bread. LOL 0
