glad to see people are checking in... hopefully everyone will by the end of the day :flowerforyou: Anyways for newbies... this challenge started last week, and ends july 4th. We weigh-in on Thursday, and chat through out the week to vent / keep each other motivated... etc. So if you would like to join... jump in... I just ask that you add yourself to the list... as there are so many people and it is hard for me to keep it up

gahhhh im soo frustrated
I am actually very angry with my body right now...I just went to weigh myself, and its been about 16 days since the last time I weighed in. I have actually been on a diet for two months, exercising for awhile before this challenge. I expected the scale to AT LEAST have budged 3 or so pounds.....I actually gained 1.3lbs. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand. I have worked soo hard since I had my baby. I stopped nursing, and thought that would lose some weight....but nothing.
I know everyone hits a point where it gets harder to move the scale. But I am ALWAYS trying new things, different workouts, running, yoga, pilates. It is so discouraging, after 8 weeks of trying soo hard to eat the right foods...working out till I want to drop dead...getting up at the crack of dawn so I can get in my run before my husband goes to work....to not see ANY results...FEELS LIKE CRAP.
I will try and stay positive, work harder, keep both feet moving forward to my ultimate goal. Afterall I know this isnt about the scale...its about how I feel about myself. I guess I just REALLY didnt want to go through another summer of not being able to wear shorts...or walking around the pool covered up by a stupid wrap....grrr...

Hi, I don't know how long ago you stopped breastfeeding, that can slow your weight loss, your not giving your baby all those extra cals. also you recently quit smoking. that too will stop your progress. you are not getting the daily stimulant from the cigs. "I know, I quit Dec 14, 2008- almost 6months ago)
just keep pushing yourself and try not to expexct too much. at your weight now, a 3lb loss is not expected. the less you have to lose , the slower it is. just keep going and try to re-adjust your nutrients and push harder on your exercise. It just takes time.0 -
It's been a tough week for me, but hopefully next week I'll be able to lose something!! I just started the challenge on Wii Active, so hopefully will see results from adding that to my usual routine. Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

you should copy and paste the last available list and then paste it to your reply. then add or adjust your numbers. you never added a goal weight, and i assumed you are just starting the challenge today so you haven't lost anything yet. so just copy and paste this for yourself and fill in your goal and you are good to go. but do it on the last updated list you can find. I just wanted to give you a hand since I was here. thanks for joining and we wish you luck and have fun.

I love puppies! Em, I could have sworn he was a boxer, but then again I think every dog looks like a boxer :laugh: ! I have a 5 year old boxer named Corky and the puppy in my picture is Zeus (rottweiler) that was when he was about 3 months old, now he is 7 months and 75 pounds
! They are very spunky dogs, but I love them!

Sooo... I decided to log all my food for the day, including what I'm planning on eating for dinner, because I knew it was going to be a higher calorie day for me and wanted to see what I was dealing with here! Well, I'm 450 calories over!!! AHH!!! I'm going to the gym after work tonight and am going to try to run for as long as i can. That seems to be the quickest way to burn calories, am I right?
Any other super calorie burning exercise suggestions would be greatly appreciated!0 -

I have an American Bulldog mix!! She is so much fun....super goofy!! :laugh: She's only 4 months right now but getting pretty big already!! She's almost as big as my 17 month old Shepherd mix!! They are best friends and wear each other out...but now that it's getting warmer they just lay around!! I got a little kiddie pool and put it in the backyard for them though and they love it!0 -
the older he gets the less he looks like a boxer... just because he is too stalky (sp?) ... but when he was a baby people did not believe us when we said he was an american bulldog... becuase most of them... or atleast most of the ones i have seen are white.... but.... yeay! I l

rottweilers... it was that a boxer or an american bulldog... the shelter near us would not adopt out pitbulls... so that was not an option... but i love them too... i think i love all the big "bad" dogs because when they are trained they really can be the best dogs ever... so loyal and athletic... anyways thats my puppy rant for the day... :laugh:

channing ... 450 calories seems like a lot but what do you have your goal set at... if it is 1200 then a total of 1650... is probably still under maintence for you... but either way I would want to burn if off too :laugh: :bigsmile: running... or if you have any classes... (I love spin... or cardio kick-boxing) they would burn that right off in 60 min or less!!! .... in cardio kick boxing I burned over 700 calories in 60 minutes once! :bigsmile:0 -
