Oh Amy, that is WONDERFUL NEWS! I think I read B12 deficiencies cause great fatigue. I can only imagine how GREAT you will feel! You will feel like a whole new person! That is WONDERFUL NEWS!! Keep us updated on the GYN ultrasound results.

I am thoroughly exhausted. Last night I did spin class. Burned 480+ cals. My "undercarriage" hurts.

Today I did light weight training, learning these new machines. I have lost all ability to do weight assisted pull ups (the grips here are different) so I have to start from scratch there. That really does make me sad. I wanna be able to do pull ups and chin ups but this grip is no good for me. I will start with almost my entire body weight supported and build up. I WILL DO PULL UPS!!!!

I ran my personal best of a 12m45s mile-- shaved 30s off my time from last week! I'm a sloooow jogger but improving!!! I am very happy with that. After running my mile, I took a water break and walked for a couple minutes, then pumped back out another half mile at that same rate. For the first time today, I think I experienced running "in the zone". It felt GREAT. Endorphins were flowing.

Used the treadclimber for the first time. I was good for a few minutes, but by 10 minutes in, the machine began kicking my butt.

I think my total workout today was about 550 cals. I am very pleased with myself.

Now me and my coffee (second cup of the day, it's rainy and yucky here today) are off to study for the LSAT!!!! :drinker:

    HAPPY FRIDAY, SIXERS!!!!

    xo

I've got SO much on my plate right now (pardon the sad pun) and it is so tempting to just throw my hands up and say I'll focus harder when life feels more manageable but that won't help. I won't feel any better about myself which will make it hard to effect positive changes in my life. I wanted the anniversary of my journey to be a huge celebration because of how far I'd come and not a monument to a little yo-yoing and I'm having such a hard time getting past that. I'm so sad about it. I've moved on from eating crap to just eating too much of the healthy food I make. I have a 9k road race this Sunday and I'm so happy I'm at least still running my butt off... the half marathon training with the coach starts Tuesday which I'm hoping will also give me some good focus. Sadly, I seem to have lost some "friends" since starting a healthier life (obviously not true friends to begin with, but I thought they were so it stings) and meeting some people through the training who are also into fitness would be great. I'm just in a funk. Also hormonal. Ugh.

Amy, great news for you from the doc. FINALLY a decent answer!

love to all of you. I'll be in for more personals when I can! New kitchen counters being installed tomorrow and now that the kiddos are in bed it's time for me to empty the kitchen.

Amy- Congratulations. I know you are happy to finally know what it is. YAY

Lauryn- Congrats on the wonderful workouts. You are using the gym well I see. I have always wanted to do pull ups. That's why you look great. Good luck studying

Rhiannon- Sorry to here about the "friends" but at least you know now. It is always a difficult time but you will definitely make it through that and being hormonal just makes everything worst. Trust me I know. LOL. I still think you are doing a great job. WE all have stumbling blocks but your running and training are increasing your metabolism and your body might not be being too affected by your eating choices. You can do it!!!

Well... I'm off to clean a little and go shopping. I can't find anything I like wearing. P.S. Please keep Tiff in your prayers. She is studying for her first set of national boards and its a really difficult time. It mentally drains you. She seems to be doing well but she only has 20 more days to review all the material for the first two years of med school. I remember those times in dental school and the best thing that helped me was my support system and God. Take care Sixers!!!

It's so quiet in here I can hear crickets chirping.

I counted not a single calorie this weekend.
I drank copious amounts of wine Friday night and today.
    Meh. Whatever.

Morning ladies! Happy Monday!:drinker: I'm feeling good today! Had a nice weekend! Went on a nice long walk with the dogs on Friday. Saturday rained, but we looked at cars (we're getting a Tahoe...which I can't wait for since I've been driving a 2-door Cavalier since high school!) and then spent the evening with my family and some friends! Then yesterday was rainy again so I got a bunch of stuff done inside! It was a very productive weekend! I love those!

So...hope you are all doing well! Have a wonderful morning!

    Good Morning Ladies,

Well it's been a great weekend on this side of the planet. Friday Tony and I went to the movies and saw UP. What a great movie. It was a wonderfrul story line. I laughed and cried.  What can I say I just love a movie about human kindness. :flowerforyou: Sat we had a graduation BBQ we had to go to for Tony's family. And then later I had some friend come up from southern Calif. So it was another BBQ. Food food glorious food everywhere.:drinker: :drinker: Then yesterday we went 4x4 ing up in the serrias. It was so beautiful. I couldn't believe how much snow was still on the ground. The weather was a little on the cloudy side and diffenatelly cold. But the lake was so beautiful. So I must say it was a great weekend but now I have all those chores that should have been done, hanging over my head.

So I jumped on the scale this morning and to my surprise no changes. I thought that it would have gone up but didn't:blushing:

    Everyone have a wonderful day!!!:flowerforyou:

wow, only 2 pages of posts this week? Everyone must be busy with their summers!!!

I'm hoping tomorrow goes well for weigh in, I know I was down a lot on Friday but I'm afraid a lot of that is back. last couple of days have not been good foodwise, but who knows, I might surprise myself.

Going to read for a while and then get some extra needed rest tonight. See you ladies in the morning for week 5!!!
