I weigh in once a week before I eat or drink anything. Every Thursday morning with a digital scale.0

I used to weigh at the gym but then became convinced their scales are retarded. I then began weighing at a Rite Aid in my town (this way I could check my BP too) but this to me became way to tedious (the Rite Aid with the scale is way across town and our little town only has 2 Rite Aid stores...lol). I then invested in a bathroom scale but it wasn't digital and I realized I would need to weigh while on my hands and knees to read the results. From here I invested in a cheap WalMart, digital scale but I am now convinced it is the distant relative of the gym scale and it somewhat retarded, at the least. I am now back to weighing at Rite Aid again...first thing in the morning, no breakfast, no coffee, in my work out clothes and barefoot (I wear flip flops to Rite Aid so I can toss them off real quick then switch into my tennis shoes when I get to the gym).

Once a week. Doing so more often you set yourself up for more disappointments. Also when you weigh yourself less often you are more apt to be happier when you lost that 1, 2 or 3 pounds. Making it more exciting to get weighed on your weigh in days.
Scales also are different and no two scales will weigh identically. Pick a method /scale that you feel to be most accurate and stick with that for your main source of information. Going from one to another will get you frustrated.0 -
Weird. I also weigh naked in the kitchen. There's just something about putting your scale there that reminds you to eat fantastically.
I also weigh daily, but I don't record it. Also, sometimes I step on the scale after eating, drinking a huge amount of water or a bathroom trip just out of curiosity.0 -

Well I don't have a regular scale so I use my Wii Fit Board to weigh. Then it tracks my weight for me. I've compared it to my Dad's scale when I go home to visit and it seems right. And of course I weigh first thing in the morning with light pajamas on, usually after using the bathroom, before eating or drinking.
^^ This :happy:.... oh and I've switched days multiple times. used to do Saturday mornings, then Mondays when I did a March challenge and now I'm doing Wednesdays so that the fluctuations from different weekend habits can't skew my results!0 -

I weigh in everyday, I have found it helps me keep on track, but don't panic if I go up a little as it does fluctuate. My "report" days (I report to a friend of mine) are Monday and Thursday. I weight my self in the AM on my Wii Fit Board in underwear and a tank (I try for the same type each day).0

Bathroom scale. First thing I do in the morning, so I know I'm getting an accurate rate and not being influenced by what I've eaten or any movement done during the day.
I'm with you! I do it first thing in the morning, after I pee, and I am usually naked (lol I know, TMI hahah!) But I like the non-influence of food or excercise, too. I even wait to take my vitamins till after I weigh! Every ounce counts! And I too only record when there is a loss. Everyone knows our weight fluctuates all over the place, everyone's does! So it makes sense to me to just show the down! (also it's a digital scale. And the difference in your gym scale and the medical scale could just be difference in calibration, or difference in places on the planet, or different times of day! Stick with one scale, whichever you feel most comfortable with!)0 -

first thing, hard floor on the same scale. naked. hair up after toilet time. every day. i dont use digital scales, and i find the balllancing scales at my work ( i work in a gym) are pooo because firstly i have all my gear on ( jumper, trackies 3 tops hr monitor, keys, phone etc) and secondly i weighed a 5kgs weight on them and it was saying it was weighing more than 5kgs. and also its going to be like 3kgs more with all the gear on but i can see if i have actually lost anyway its not really about the number on those ones for me0

At work, in the morning (before clinic starts), no shoes and nothing in my pockets, coat and sweaters off. Can't strip because I don't feel the need to get fired/arrested for being naked in front of children.0

Friday morning, starkers, after a wee is my official weigh in. I do check daily in the morning but don't log these weights - its just me being a bit OCD............:ohwell:
Oh, and my scale also measures body fat so I do that on Fridays too, but not every day..... I'm not THAT bad (quite )0 -
