Oddly enough, this idea popped into my head last night -- without seeing this thread!

I tried my own version of this for lunch this afternoon. Mine came out to about 300 cals with the ingredients I had on hand, but was very tasty and satisfied that pizza craving I'd had all week.

Looking forward to trying out some of these variations!

Have any of you ever used portobello mushrooms as the crust? Tasty.

And since I almost bought this, and similar items, for my husband not too long ago....

a slice of pepperoni/sausage pizza is only aroun 250 cals.. why fight it and you won't have to feel like you're depriving yourself or 'dieting..' then again, if you can't stop at 1-2 slices, go for it.

Thanks for the great idea, and that's the best spatula I have ever seen!

I make english muffin pizzas in the toaster oven. Thomas's light english muffin, Spread on a garlic and herb laughing cow light cheese wedge (1 will do both halves of english muffin), a few swirls of pizza sauce (I use contadina in squirt bottle since I use so little at a time, and it's convenient), and 4 slices of turkey pepperoni on each half. Toast until crispy/browned! 185 Calories

Pizza is my favourite food... I do the same thing except with 45 cal/slice bread toasted, some marinara sauce, a heap of veggies and a 30 cal slice of cheddar cheese and baked in the oven. Yumm!
