" Pain in the struggle is only temporary. It could be that you feel in a minute, hour, day, or year. But if you give up, the pain will be felt forever. ” (Lance Armstrong, former U.S. Cycling Athlete)

"My goal is go to bed tonight healthier than I got up this morning." Not sure who said this but I took it from MFP. Another is---Don't give up what you want most for what you want now.
Great idea Mariah. I have them on post-its stuck on the credenza above my desk.

Though no one can back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
Not sure where it came from but my friend sent it to me and I have it psted on my desk at work.

Some of my friends and I sometimes post motivational quotes so i'll share some of them

"A champion is someone who gets up when he can't." - Jack Dempsey. The same guy who knocked a robber with his left hook at the age of 78

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." -Michael Jordan. Did you knew he was cut from his HS team?

My coach got 2 advice for me when I started out with him. 1) Listen to your body. If you need a break, take a break and step back. Pushing yourself is good but if you're injured, you're not pushing nothing but a wheel chair. 2) DO WHAT WE DO! We're in the business to create Olympians and if you wanna be an athlete, do what we do! This advice is coming from a 50+ years old man who works out atleast 4-5 hours a day

"Dont limit your challenges. Challenge your limits!"

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Great board! There are some great quotes already- the zombie one made me laugh soo hard!

    Mine is:

"Live loves the liver of it"
    -Maya Angelou

People get confused by this quote sometimes (liver doesn't = part of your anatomy in this quote ;). I guess what it means to me is that life is kindest and rewards those who go out and live it. Which is why I am on mpf, I'm trying to live my life to its fullest by getting healthy.
