    I find that jalapenos are to inconsistent when it comes
    to heat. I've had some that are no better than a bell pepper,
    and others that will peel the paint off your front porch! Plus,
    serrano, and habanero peppers combined add great flavor!

    I use jalapenos for poppers, or gut them to flavor chili.

    Very true when it comes to jalapenos. My kid has a knack for picking out the hot ones. :laugh:

    On just about everything. My latest fling is with Tabasco green pepper sauce. Tapatio if I can't find anything exotic., But my absolute favorite was brought back from China, has Chinese characters on the label and when it's gone....it's gone.

    Now that I've reduced salt, I double up so as not lose flavor.

    I love hot sauce, but I have usually only put it on things like chicken, fish, or pizza. You are all giving me some really great ideas though!

    chicken with butter spray...mock buffalo...not often because of sodium , I also love it on taco salad mixed with light sour cream, annd last but not least it is fabulous mixed with low fat cream cheese, shredded chicken breast, light blue cheese dressing and topped with 2% cheddar cheese, its sooo good used as a dip for celery....I eat that sparingly and make it for parties, people love it! :tongue:
