WEEK 7 CHALLENGE
because we are on week 7, have had quite a few challenges and are now all at different stages.
So this weeks challenge is:
Set your own challenge for the week and stick to it
Post your challenges once you've decided

My challenge for week 7 is to get back to the gym, starting today.
I have had a few days off from it thanks to my stomach acting up and my nightshifts so it is time to get back on track.
I have had a few days trial of eating 6 meals a day and it is working nicely, going to carry this on from now on. Logging it all makes it all so easy
Good luck all of you :flowerforyou:0 -
my challenge is to exercise at least 30mins a day (unless im really in pain) and to eat all of my earned exercise calories.
today i'm going to body vibe with my sister which is like dance aerobics and lasts about 45-60mins0 -
My challenge is to exercise at least 3 times a week. I am starting to swim again, so hopefully do that 2 times, and I have my walking group every Tuesday which is at least an hours vigorous walking...And (i know it was last weeks challenge) to drink more water!! Now I am starting to exercise its encouraging me to drink it :drinker: but I need to start EVERY day...I'm rubbish though!
Good luck everyone
Just wondering, what are all of your aims? Do you have something that is encouraging you to loose the weight? Mine is one of my oldest friends wedding at the end of July! EEK! Not long....And my aim is to look good in a size 12 dress that I buy!! :blushing:0 -

I dont think I could do the 6 meals thing.... What you having for each one?0 -
meal 1: porridge or kelloggs crunchie nut for breakfast
meal 2: a pear and a banana or an apple and a banana
meal 3: a salad with couscous or a slice of wholemeal toast with poached eggs or homemade soup (depending on what I fancy)
meal 4: whey protein shake (Sci MX is the best make out there)
meal 5: chicken breast or steamed fish and steamed veg.
meal 6: greek yoghurt, some dried fruit some unsalted almonds or walnuts
It is all about portion control, small but often make sure you get your food groups in and drink your 8 glasses of water.
even with this plan I have to try and reach my 1200 cals. that's why I have added the nuts.
sometimes I swap the meals around to suit my shift. so what you see above is just a guideline to what I eat on a normal day.
this plan also stops me from over eating, I am just not hungry :happy:0 -
Hi guys, im making another change to my plan........i'm upping my calories. i lost the most weight when i was eating between 1350-1450 and after hardly losing anything sticking around 1200 im going to try the higher levels again.
I got this figure by looking at my BMR which is 1504 (very basic) so i will aim for close-ish to this number, but then will not eat any calories burned from exercise.0 -
It was worth trying to eat like an athlete (6 small meals) but I think for my busy schedule it doesn't work out. I have given it a good go which is the main thing. I will from now on stick to 3 meals and a few snacks instead.
Have a nice weekend all of you :flowerforyou:0 -
My challenge is to exercise 4 times a week
Hope everyone is having fun this weekend :happy:0 -

Hi
Katie replied to a thread I put up about being a newbie and wanting to join a group, mind if I tag along? I'm guessing looking at this thread that new challenges are set on Monday? If this is the case then I'm ready to take up the next challenge tomorrow!0 -
Hello, Can I join as well?
I love the idea of having a group to join, and chat to.
Will look in again tomorrow, my eldest son has decided that he needs help with his homework for tomorrow :noway:0 -

I havent really got this week off to a good start... i made myself sick without even realising..
Last night after one healthy dinner...
i binged MAJORLY...
Loads of minstrels, massive bowl of chocolate ice-cream AND Mr Kipling Chocolate Slices...
Bleerrrghhh.. i woke up around 12.30 with sick pretty much in my mouth.. i felt DISGUSTING this morning... cried on my way into work.. and vowched i would NEVER EVER do that to myself again.. I hope someone understands...
Now i dont have much motivation as i dont have a holiday to look forward to i dont really care.
Just had a breakfast of half a banana, mini wheats, some bran flakes and fruit and nut crunch.. i still feel sick, but im just gonna crack on with the day...
sorry to go on but i really do feel disgusted with myself.. and i have only been back on here 1 day! Holy cow!!!
This girl needs some motivation to stay on track!!0 -
heyy im from the uk too and noticed you have no lads joined to the group
