Walking isn't an exercise?

As all other posters say, walking IS an exercise & is the easiest form of exercise especially for obese people or like in your case, have some medical conditions. I do it everyday & along with my heavy weight lifting to maintain my figure. Anything that requires you to move uses up your energy, heck even just washing the dishes or vacuuming your house also burns calories. While running or taking up zumba classes burns more calories in the exact same amount of time as when you walk, the fact that you are moving requires your body to use its stored energy (aka calories). Its not in the type of exercise, adding more workout days or the number of calories you burn in a short amount of time that can make or break you, its all about becoming LESS SEDENTARY.
Keep doing what you love & ignore your husband. He's just either being ignorant or feel jealous that you're doing great.0
