    Hello Everyone. I am hoping to make this the summer I meet my goal. It takes me so long to lose...I tend to do the yo-yo dance. I have been told by my doctor to lose the weight as I am starting to be pre-diabetic. I was in the 200's for almost ten years. My highest weight being 214. I am now down to 186...that has taken me 7 years. I hope we can all support one another to meet our goals. I am going to try to cut out starches at dinnertime this week. What has worked for others?

    Fruits and veggies and lean protein. Some days that's all I have and maybe 2 slices of bread OR a half cup of brown rice OR 1/2 cup of oatmeal or other startch. I do this to come off of a plateau (3-7 days) then return to staying within my MFP set calorie goal.
