Regrets...We All Have Them..

Regrets...We All Have Them..One of the worst I have is deciding NOT to go to Garth Brooks 1997 Central Park Concert. With over half a million people there I opted to watch it on TV. Since then I never rec'd one more opportunity to see him live. At this point he doesn't perform at large venue's and only does the Wynn Las Vegas which is a private show valued at $250/EACH.

I'm probably one of his biggest fans of his ever and never rec'd a second chance...an important lesson I've learned the hard way and have decided to not allow opportunities to pass me up ever since. One of these is the decision to become healthy and take care of myself so as to allow myself to benefit from any adventure that my future holds.

How about yourselves? Are there any experiences or decisions you passed up on that occasionally you're reminded of or have provided a lesson for you in other areas?

Oh and on a side note, I missed his performing my favorite song, "Callin Baton Rouge" - http://is.gd/EqbDGn

you do know that Roto Rooter can be called in situations like these?

Yes, I have regrets, but we wouldn't learn anything if we didn't have any.

Oh how I wish I made different choices.

I thought he was about to go on tour again... For 2012-2013 but I don't think they've released the US tour dates and locations yet. Only Canada maybe?? But this would be your chance

Is there a link between Chicago and a fantasy by chance? That'd be interesting

Oh boy. I could write a book on this topic. I'm the KING of regrets. Well, maybe not "regrets" per se, maybe bad decisions. LOL.

My biggest regret, not answering my phone...
I'm a Motley Crue fan and they were on their Dr. Feelgood Tour. I was going to see them that night. As I'm walking out the door to go to a girlfriends house to get ready, my phone starts ringing. I paused for a moment, but then decided to ignore it and be on my way. I had a fabulous night, the concert was incredible....
I get home and my brother and Dad were waiting up for me, they had horrible looks on their faces. I thought I was in BIG trouble....
Long story short, that call I missed was a good friend, also a limo driver. His company was hired to pick up Motley Crue and escort them. He told them what a huge fan I was and they said..." Go pick her up!" The limo he was driving had the Dr. Feelgood cover down the side of it. The band also gave him backstage passes to give to me. I was heartbroken! :(
    ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

I really regret skipping out on studying abroad in college because I didn't want to be apart from my boyfriend.

The boyfriend who I broke up with that summer.

    I was smart.

I regret not playing the last Mega Millions. I always play the same darn number and the day that I didn't play it; it's the same number that I've played for the last 10 years and it wins. I hate it myself for a bit afterwards.

I saw Garth Brooks in 1997 and the tickets were $18. Can you even believe that?! Eighteen dollars!

"no regrets" is my motto when I am doing something hard. I was doing the cycling portion of a triathlon relay and it was killing me but I just kept telling myself "no regrets" because I knew that if I got off that bike and walked it up that ridiculous hill that I would be really mad at myself.
  • No real regrets. But I've seen Garth Brooks live, can't remember the exact year, but probably right around that time. In Chicago. :)

Probably my only real regret in life is letting myself gain so much weight (twice) and subsequently letting my weight define me.

LOVED Garth. Saw him years ago in Pittsburgh...I can easily say it was the best concert experience of my life.

Regarding regrets...I guess I regret never having (giving birth to) kids.
