I actually don't have any. It's not that I've never made any mistakes, I just don't regret having made them. I make peace with my mistakes as soon as possible, and move on with my life.

^This. There's always a reason at the time that you make the decision you do.

I regret not having a 4th kid. I've always wanted 4, and put off getting pregnant for a trip to Vegas with my husband and a couple good friends. By the time we got back, he'd changed his mind and doesn't want anymore. So not worth a few days in Vegas.

I regret not answering the phone the last time my mother called me :(

    Oh, damn, Yes. ^^^

Long story short, called my mom to talk to her. She was sick. There was a lot of commotion and it seemed hard to get her on the phone. She was going to the bathroom or something, so I just said, "Nevermind, I'll call back tomorrow." She passed away that night.

Of all the things in my life that have happened, that's probably the only thing I really truly regret.

I'm so sorry for both of you. :(

My biggest regret, not answering my phone...
I'm a Motley Crue fan and they were on their Dr. Feelgood Tour. I was going to see them that night. As I'm walking out the door to go to a girlfriends house to get ready, my phone starts ringing. I paused for a moment, but then decided to ignore it and be on my way. I had a fabulous night, the concert was incredible....
I get home and my brother and Dad were waiting up for me, they had horrible looks on their faces. I thought I was in BIG trouble....
Long story short, that call I missed was a good friend, also a limo driver. His company was hired to pick up Motley Crue and escort them. He told them what a huge fan I was and they said..." Go pick her up!" The limo he was driving had the Dr. Feelgood cover down the side of it. The band also gave him backstage passes to give to me. I was heartbroken! :(
    ALWAYS ANSWER YOUR PHONE!

Yes. Always answer your phone. Because sometimes it's Motley Crue.

And, sometimes, you're in 8th grade, it's 1990, and your aunt just used her giant brick of a cell phone to call from the Grammy's and let you talk to NKOTB. Yes, I could've talked to Joey, but I missed the chance. Because I was watching 90210 on TV and wouldn't come to the phone when my Mom told me my aunt was calling for me.

    Yes, really.
    It still upsets me.

I regret not getting onto the healthy track much sooner... and I should've socialized a bit more when I was younger and perhaps I wouldn't be so shy now.

Turning around because my father was not well and it looked like rain and I missed my son winning a gold medal for winning the division title in baseball.

I don't have regrets. I'm thankful for every good, bad, and ugly thing I've dealt with because it's made me awesome.

Regrets...We All Have Them..One of the worst I have is deciding NOT to go to Garth Brooks 1997 Central Park Concert. With over half a million people there I opted to watch it on TV. Since then I never rec'd one more opportunity to see him live. At this point he doesn't perform at large venue's and only does the Wynn Las Vegas which is a private show valued at $250/EACH.

I'm probably one of his biggest fans of his ever and never rec'd a second chance...an important lesson I've learned the hard way and have decided to not allow opportunities to pass me up ever since. One of these is the decision to become healthy and take care of myself so as to allow myself to benefit from any adventure that my future holds.

How about yourselves? Are there any experiences or decisions you passed up on that occasionally you're reminded of or have provided a lesson for you in other areas?

Oh and on a side note, I missed his performing my favorite song, "Callin Baton Rouge" - http://is.gd/EqbDGn

    This is a regret?

My biggest regret is VERY personal, Im just gonna say I made a huge mistake that also brought me my biggest blessing.

Another big regret is stayin in a relationship for 7 years and allowing my ex to break me down to feel as though I had no reason to exist without him (both emotionally and phsyically abuse and cheated on me with 15 diff girls).
I dont regret him, I regret what I allowed him to do to me.

    My regular lil regrets are:

Not starting my diet a long time ago.
    Going to kaplan.
Not stayin on college after high school.
Not pursuing my career of choice.

    Thats about it.

My biggest regret is taking 3 months off my diet, I gained 20lbs, if I hadn't taken all those months off I would have been at my goal weight by now. On bright side I learned exactly not what to do when I am maintaining and learned not to push myself to the brink of burning myself out.

I was lucky enough to see Garth. Way before 1997. I'm thinking like 1992. Gosh am I that old??? Regrets - tons - would I do them again - absolutely. I wouldn't be me without them. And I like me.

I have a few. My definition of a regret is something where the lesson will never make up for the loss. ::exits depressing thread::

I regret not moving to America when I had the chance. I didn't have any commitments back then, not sure what stopped me!
