    Me too! Well...pharmacy technician actually. :) I'm on my feet all day and it does help. In addition, I spend my work day counting out prescription medications for people with serious health issues...some that could have been avoided by a healthier lifestyle. It encourages me a great deal with my current efforts.

    Seeing other people's ailments would certainly be a sobering motivator.

    School Nurse- ages 3-15, grades PK-8th, hinders because I never find time to eat. Nurses have notoriously bad eating habits most of the time.

    And sometimes I look at those treadmill desks and slobber with jealousy...

    Ditto that. I can't describe how much I want one.

    I sit at a desk all day and yep hinders me physically wears me out im exhausted at the end of the day even though I haven't done anything physical lol

    Laboratory medicine. A lot of stress on the job.

    I am currently unemployed
    but I am training to become a future soldier
    and this desire to be in the army has pushed me
    that reflects on my weight loss

    I am carer in a nursing home. It's difficult because I work mainly night shifts and so my eating patterns can become irregular

    Business Support Analyst in the IT department... Sit all day.. but I do take an hour lunch and go to the gym (we have one in our building..) Don't get much time for myself at home I have six kids after supper, cleaning up and baths and everything else in between I'm crawling into bed :)

    Business analyst (desk job).
    But we got a gym on campus last year and that has really helped.

    Orthopaedic surgeon,
    Anti-social hours, upto 56hr shifts and erratic breaks
    Hospital canteen options aren't always that healthy
    But operating can provide a good work out!
