When I started MFP in mid September I wanted to lose 30 pounds. As of today I hit that mark. During this process I decided to change final goal to 35 pounds and will do that within the next month or so. I am sooooo excited. Believe me, if I can do it, you all can too! Dont allow yourself any excuses! I am 50 years old and have tried to lose weight many times before but always lost motivation, but not this time.
Went out and bought myself a pair of expensive jeans today - in a size 8. They look pretty darn good - even on an old lady!!
Dont give up everybody

I need to lose about 30-35 pounds too. The site said I need to keep my calories down to 1,200-I find this hard and haven't lost a pound. I'm sticking to it, but it hasn't done a thing for me yet.0
-
I'm very happy that you've reached your goal!!!!
I need a pick-me-up. I have been at this for over a month, rarely go over my calorie limit (1,200) and haven't seen the scale budge a bit. I'm am so discouraged.0
