    heheh you cheeky buggers, at first I have to admit, I thought that typing "bump" was some kind of way to promote a new diet or workout regime, until I Googled it...that's why I found it so annoying...dang all you computer, internet savvy people...I just hope you are not fb junkies too!

    Back when I started messing around on the internet, oh about a million years ago (really only 13 yrs ago), BUMP was how we used to move a thread back to the top of the list of threads. Forums show the most recent activity at the top, so putting a BUMP on it will bring to 1st place. We had all sorts of cute and dumb and rude ways to "bump" up our desired thread.

    A subscribe function with options for notifications when new posts are made would get rid of bump posts. Till then, people, including me, will bump.
