My best estimate would be
3 1/2x 91/2 =33.25 Cubic Inches = 18.42 Fluid Ounces0 -
6.5 cups.0

6.5 cups.
Hmm, I think you're right. I was going to say 7 cups, but after recalculating, 6.5 is correct.
thank you for answering the question, I appreciate that0 -

maybe she's drinking out of this??0 -
d = 3.5 in
r = 1.75 in
h = 9.5 in
A = pi*r^2 = 9.62in^2
V = A*h = 91.39in^3
91.39 cubic inches is equal to 50.64 US fl oz
That equals 6 1/3 cups.
But really, just take a measuring cup and fill it.0 -
step on the scale.
Drink the full bottle of water
step back on the scale.
Take the weight difference.
then using your current altitude, the outside air pressure, and the density of the last crap that you took you can calculate the exact volume of water that you consumed.
If you haven't been tracking your crap density then I just can't help you if you won't help yourself.0 -
What do you think this is, MyCalculusPal?0

The area that holds water on my 950ml bottle is 3"x8".0

Really it is all in the detail people!!! You would not want to drink too much water0 -
Assuming it's not a thick-walled or double-walled container and that it's a reasonably-regular cylinder, you can get the volume with the simple formula of
Volume = (pi) * radius^2 * height
3.14 * 1.75^2 * 9.5 = about 91 cubic inches
1 cup = 14.44 cubic inches
91 / 14.44 = 6.3 cups
Drink one of those beasties a day and have a 16-ounce glass of water with supper, and you're good.
But in case the measurements are off, I'd use the "fill it from a one-cup measuring bowl and count fill-ups until the fingers holding the bottle get wet.0 -

If it is not squared it would be
91/2+ 3/12= 13 Cubic Inches = 7.2 ounces0 -
