How much food does this hold?

Options
I have a plate I like to eat off of:)

It is 7" in diameter and blue. It is also kind of flat like corning ware!

If I am eating spaghetti off of it, how much spaghetti does it hold or how much spaghetti am I eating???

well, if two trains are leaving two stations at the same time and one is going 75 mph and the other is going 65 mph, solve for x.

Really? O-kay....it depends how high you pile the spaghetti. I'm sure you could fit several cups on that plate if you tried. Best way to measure is with a food scale, or if you're measuring a cup serving of spaghetti, use a measuring cup then put it on the plate.

You need to multiply the diameter of the plate by how high you plan on piling the spaghetti.

You can't eat spaghetti - it has carbs.

How do I measure how high it is when the pile is the shape of a volcano....surely it isn't the same height all the way around the pile???

    Well let's see. First you get volume of a sphere by: v = 4/3 * π * r(cubed)

Then divide that by 2 since you're really talking about a hemisphere.

    = ??? ... lots

It doesn't matter, because psychologically, blue plates make us eat less, which is why restaurants have blue plate specials for all you can eat deals.

^^This. We obviously can't make a calculation until it's cleared up.

Also, are you having salad and toast with your spaghetti or is it just straight up s'ketti?

It is robin egg blue but it also has a yellow line around the rim:)

I'll have salad and toast with the spaghetti....It goes inside the volcano hole....

Blue absorbs all calories.....capacity is irrelevant.

I think that you would have 22oz of cooked pasta.

Do you not own measuring cups?

Although, the thought of measuring plates does seem enchanting...
