May Drink More Water Challenge

    I drink about 10 glasses a day. I have a desk job so drinking water helps keep me stay full so i'm not snacking all day. I've heard 2 answers to this questions but do coffee and/or tea count as water intake?

    In the past I hadn't counted water, but one of MFP friends counts a certain amount of cups of coffee as water. I am thinking of maybe doing that, too.

    I am in. I always pass out in the summer from dehydration and I need more water desperately. Today I would say I drank about 32 oz!

    My goal is a minimum of 14 on workout days, and a minimum of 8 on rest days.

    Though i drink like 12 glasses a day.
    I drink so much, yet I don't pee that much :/

    ^ I envy you. I pee like every hour.... :X

    I would love to join this thread. I'm still new to the water battle, and just kind of slowly struggling. I work a desk job with limited bathroom breaks, so it makes it rough for me to drink during the day, but I'd found if I can carefully time how I drink, I can at least drink 4 cups at work. Sometimes. XD

    I tend to drink about 2 litres during the week but much less at the weekends so for the the challenge will be to improve my weekend intake.

    01.05.12 - 2.25L (I don't know how many cups that is).

    I'm in, need this bad. I used to drink lots of water, then got out of the habit & now finding it really hard to do.

    Wow, so much water! are those 8oz cups or a regular glass which is about 16oz?

    some ways I have found to increase my water intake is drink a glass before bed and a glass as soon as I wake up.

    I drank 11 glasses yesterday, but lately it's just been at the 8 glass value. I have a desk job as well and the water also helps me to stay full so I'm not snacking constantly.

    You don't have to drink 8 whole glasses of water a day. There is water in everything you eat and drink- milk, fruit, etc.

    I usually try for 6 glasses.

    I can give this a shot. I can sometimes barely drink 4 glasses... I guess I can get more water intake. ^^

    The concern I would have is that your kidneys are not properly functioning. It might be something you want to check out with your doctor.

    I definitely need to drink more water, this is perfect for me. I try for at least 6 a day, but yesterday I drank 8. :smile: Would like to get to 10 a day, at least.
