What are the best or your favourite exercises for the butt, and the back of the legs, right under the butt?

    Yes! Squats are excellent, and you can also use dumbells to really get workin'
    Stability ball hamstring curls KILL ME! It is an excellent hamstring workout as well
    If you have access to some equipment, you can also do Glut-Ham Raises

    No, squats work the bum, and back of the legs. Also lunges.

    Yup. I concur on the squats. Squats are the king of all lifts. Just make sure you go to at least parallel.

    I think clean and jerk is king... but squat is certainly in the royal family...

    Squats for sure! I would watch videos to make sure of correct form. I hurt myself in high school because my form was bad

    Squats, putting your weight on your heels works glutes more. Squats putting your weight on your toes works the front more. Pre-fatiguing the quadriceps will help isolate the glutes better too. :)

    I bought Brazil Butt Lift DVD and he focuses in on those areas....I actually like the Bum Bum DVD the best. Great moves with no weights. He says the goal is to build the butt without making our legs larger....perfect for me because my legs LOVE to get a lot of muscles.

    I took a lot of these movies and put them in my Zumba class that I teach and I really like it.

    For example: No weights: Squat low, then stand up and push one leg behind you and squeeze butt. There really are a lot of different moves that I can tell focus in on those areas and inner thigh.

    If you can just buy the Bum Bum DVD, I think you would be happy.

    SQUATS/ lunges and jumping lunges!! you do them right you will feel it all over...even your butt!!!!

    Add some Stiff-Legged Deadlifts to those squats and lunges and you can't go wrong! :)
