What don't I crave. I can't say that it is anything in particular all the time. It varies, so it is hard to kick such a variety!! I LOVE food. Good, bad and in between. Last craving that I had to curb was chocolate cake. Hadn't had chocolate in a while and didn't feel like making it. I wanted decadent. Local bakery where there was supposed to be a wonderful cake, closed for Sunday afternoon. Ended up going to McAlister's Deli for their chocolate spoon bread. It was so rich I couldn't even eat half. Totally hit the spot and curbed the craving! Craving before that was Sushi!!!! Next one, not sure, probably fried chicken or pizza. Food is good stuff.

Wine, I suppose. It's the only 'food' I eat regularly that I know is not healthy (in the amounts I drink). It does bring me great pleasure, but I don't feel guilty about it. :drinker:

Love fritos scoops and Hellava Good Dip horseradish dip and Dollar General has a sweet & spicy trail mix that I have actually sat down and ate 3 bags in one sitting. It hits all the right spots of salty, crunchy, spicy and sweet!!! Yummo!!!!!

my guilty pleasure is definitely more on the sweet side :) I love the combination of a couple chocolate chip cookies, double fudge brownie, vanilla ice cream, topped with caramel and chocolate syrup and then some pretzels crumbled on top for a little salt. I don't think I've ever had this exact combination but it would be really good. :D

Gumbo, fried shrimp, fried catfish, hushpuppies... hey it's not easy living in the deep south! I haven't had any since starting, though. Easy to avoid when you can't cook it at home. I also love me some Sun Chips, I could easily go through a big bag by myself. I don't keep them in the house anymore because I find it stupid to count how many chips I pull out just to have something crunchy.

    Cajun Boiled Peanuts

... oh man if there was only 1 thing I could eat EVERY DAY for the rest of my life, it's Cajun Boiled Peanuts. But (w/ shell) a cup of them is about 200 calories!!! And I can go through about 3 cups *easily* if I let myself :grumble: stupid high calorie peanuts
  • OMFG chipotleee. i miss it so much. and cheddar cheese. i could eat a whole stick of it in one sitting. been almost 2 months since ive had either of them.

Fried chicken wings and wine. I know wine is a drink but it's my weakness as well.

I absolutely love cupcakes, the kind you get at a bakery. Unfortunately, they come in around 800 cals, and a mountain of sugary carbs, so I try to limit myself to one a month.

My weekly guilty indulge is PeachWave Frozen Yogurt. My typical mix up comes in around 500 calories, but it replaces my lunch for that day, so I'm usually able to stay under my measures. That's one thing I just can't turn away from though.

CHEEEESE and loads of it. mmmmm

ME TOO!! I could totally get extra cheese on a stuffed crust pizza, with a large order of mozzarella sticks on the side, and cheesy bread sticks (preferably stuffed with cheese too). No wonder my cholesterol is on the high side.

Good Mexican food... especially Pappasito's... and just about any kind of NACHOS!!!

I have developed a relatively low calorie nacho recipe, but I'm talking about the billion calorie kind of nachos! ;-)

    1. Ice cream of any kind - in particular chocolate brownie or chocolate peanut butter.
    2. Pepsi

In response to some of the other posts: I used to be addicted to McDonald's, in particular their fries - New Years resolution 2009 saw me give all McDonald's products up - and it is the only resolution I have ever kept. 3 years and 4 months McDonald's free!

No matter how hard I try, I just can't stay away from KFC's fried hot wings. I know they're bad for me but once I get that craving (almost everyday) I have to satisfy it. I got mad yesterday when I went to KFC and they told me I had to wait 10 minutes for hot wings. I've got to find an alternative to these wings.

I bake either chicken breast or chicken legs that I marinate in Frank's Red Hot Sauce, they are really good. Maybe a homemade version may help you. I hate to give up stuff I love so I find a way to compromise. Maybe get a small order for dinner and have it w/ a large dinner salad,

Aside from wine, which I manage to fit into my meal plan on a regular basis, the one that busts me is potato chips. Oh how I love them...if there is an open bag in front of me, I will eat them.

i agree with peanut butter cheeios addictions! The cinnamon ones and the regular multigrain ones are also incredibly addicting.

I am also addicted to sushi. I find my brain likes to think about eating ALL the rolls.

Goldfish Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar..... The little *kitten* are just sooooo yummy.

Agreed. Also love Nutter Butter cookies. Neither of which is ever (and I mean ever) in my house. If I'm really jonesing I buy a pack and take when we head to the beach so the kids will devour and I only get a few.
