Tattoos-- Anyone regret getting a sleeve (or half)?

I have half of a sleeve and would like to get a full sleeve but I am going to school to become a Registered Nurse. I have been told many times this will look bad in trying to get a job. So I haven't done it but I do not regret the ones that I have now.. I am sure your situation is different because you are self employed but some people judge you no matter what. Sucks but true..0

I'm glad my Tattoo's are covered by a tee shirt. In professional settings it used to be frowned upon, times are changing and younger professionals it's more acceptable, but my 20 something sister-in-law works at straight laced firm and she has to use 'cover up' and dark pantyhose to hide her ink.0

I think that this is changing. In Chicago we have a lot of higher-ups (on the younger side, of course) who bare all but in great dapper (button-ups with ties) in corporations. I think that as the great US melting pot moves on with the generations, this will be just a part of someone's personality and not reflect on their ability to carry responsibility and intellectual ability. It's how you carry yourself that counts, including a well-groomed appearance. Tats aren't going to hamper that forever. Honestly I see it more and more often here. It's the older generations (so if these are your clients, beware) and their mentalities that turn their nose up at the idea.0
