I really dislike these hair lengths- were losing femininity in the world!
Some people look great with it but it is so hard to pull off
LOL Short hair = less feminine? I guess we should all stop wearing pants too. Those are manly.
Audrey Hepburn was just sooooo manly. :laugh:Got it cut yesterday! Lol it's going to take some more experimenting with different waxes/ pastes to get it as piece-y as hers, but...
Love it! You have an amazing face and it looks fantastic!0 -

@Marie - Your hair looks fabulous, love. I agree that some of us just can't work with short hair, but you definitely can, and it looks great. And I am sure it will be very nice through the hot months ahead. lolI really dislike these hair lengths- were losing femininity in the world!

No, we're not losing femininity in the world. We're just realising that the centuries-old definitions of "femininity" no longer apply, and that they were always rather stupid anyway. There's nothing wrong with a woman having short hair or a man having long hair, or even both having shaved head. So yeah, long hair ≠ feminine. :flowerforyou:0 -
Yes! Super cute. I wish I could pull it off.0

You have the face for it...DO it!!!! I wish I could do that but I have a fuller face LOL :P0

I love this haircut, but not on her. Don't get me wrong, wouldn't mind looking like her, but her face is too round for such a short cut. I have a round face and as soon as you chop off your hair, it looks so much bigger, like you're a lollipop. As for it not being feminine, that's like saying we shouldn't wear trousers and jeans (but that's not what this post was about, so now let's move on.) If you like it, give it a try! I wish I could pull of short hair like you do. Hmph. *goes to corner to pout*0

I use Bed Head Hard To Get wax if that's any help0

So having short hair means we're losing femininity? Hair doesn't make a woman.0 -
My hair is pretty much like my profile, but with shorter side swept bangs, but I'm thinking of changing it up a little bit. I'd like to be able to wear it messy as well as straight. Thoughts?
she looks familiar..who is this ?0 -
you're already cute...worry about something else0

It looks absolutely fab on you! I didn't read closely enough when I first posted, I thought your hair was pulled back in the first photo. it looks very nice on you! And I agree with you, femininity isn't something that should be defined by your hair?0

I would be pissed off if i came to you for a haircut and you wouldn't do it because you didn't think i could "pull it off." That's for me to decide and no one else!! Licensed or not - your opinion on my hair shouldn't matter...
Heres the thing, just like we all have opinions and when asked, I'm going to give mine. If I'm the one cutting the hair, my opinion does in fact matter. I'm not going to let someone walk out with my name in their hands/hair and they look terrible with said hair cut. I've never just flat out told someone "no i'm not going to cut that haircut at all," but I have made tweaks and suggestions to better suit the client's features and facial shape.0 -

To me this is like saying that the cashier's opinion about my food purchase at the grocery store matters. lol It doesn't. However, given that I know pretty much nothing about fashion and style I would certainly be more receptive to your "tweaks and suggestions", but I wouldn't accept you denying me service if I didn't accept them. You would lose a customer and generate some very negative advertising from me. I don't go to the salon often at all. I haven't been in more than a year, actually. When I go I always tell my stylist this, "I don't really care what you do, just make sure it looks good, and that I don't leave here bald." I am not picky, but if I happened to be the kind of woman who wants something a certain way I can guarantee that I'd be pissed off if I got denied service because I am not willing to accept the stylist's advice.0 -
SUPER CUTE!!0

I think you have the perfect face for it, so I say go for it. It's a totally cute cut.
Edit: I see you did it! (I didn't read thru :blushing: ). It's really cute.0
