I really dislike these hair lengths- were losing femininity in the world!
Some people look great with it but it is so hard to pull off

LOL Short hair = less feminine? I guess we should all stop wearing pants too. Those are manly.

Audrey Hepburn was just sooooo manly.

Got it cut yesterday! Lol it's going to take some more experimenting with different waxes/ pastes to get it as piece-y as hers, but...

Love it! You have an amazing face and it looks fantastic!

@Marie - Your hair looks fabulous, love. I agree that some of us just can't work with short hair, but you definitely can, and it looks great. And I am sure it will be very nice through the hot months ahead. lol

No, we're not losing femininity in the world. We're just realising that the centuries-old definitions of "femininity" no longer apply, and that they were always rather stupid anyway. There's nothing wrong with a woman having short hair or a man having long hair, or even both having shaved head. So yeah, long hair ≠ feminine. :flowerforyou:

I love this haircut, but not on her. Don't get me wrong, wouldn't mind looking like her, but her face is too round for such a short cut. I have a round face and as soon as you chop off your hair, it looks so much bigger, like you're a lollipop. As for it not being feminine, that's like saying we shouldn't wear trousers and jeans (but that's not what this post was about, so now let's move on.) If you like it, give it a try! I wish I could pull of short hair like you do. Hmph. *goes to corner to pout*

So having short hair means we're losing femininity? Hair doesn't make a woman.
