Do these shorts look like they are too small on me?

So yesterday I went shorts shopping because it was hot and all of my shorts from last summer are too big. But I think I may have gotten *high* off the excitement of being able to squeeze into a size 3 because looking now I feel like they look like they are too tight on me. With the fact that I had to rush in trying them on cuz I had my 2 kids with me I feel like I may have misjudged how they truly look. Last summer I was wearing size 11 shorts, so it almost feels wrong so to speak to be wearing 3s...


These are the shorts in question... All a size 3 save for one pair, which are 5s.













Honest opinions please!! Do they look like they are ill-fitting?

O, and my head wasn't cropped out do to trying to be anonymous or nethin like that, just not feelin myself today

They all are cute, but pic two looks like it could be just a pinch tight. Overall, you look GREAT!!! I can't wait until I have the thighs for shorts. Keep up the good work!

They all look great but the 4th pair down. They are not long enough or short enough if that makes sense lol. They just don't hit you as well as the others. But the rest look awesome

I think they look great. But if you feel uncomfortable, maybe a size bigger would feel better. I was so used to squeezing into cloths, that now I like a little "room". :ohwell:

My favorite shorts, cut-offs! I think you look really cute in them. You have gorgeous legs and a great figure! You certainly don't even resemble the first photo. Get that body image outta your mind!

looks like u still need to work on the love handle area where u may be widest compared to every where else. Once that shrinks even 1/2 inch more then you will look GREAT in all those clothes.. YOU do look good in them now and GREAT PROGRESS by the way.. but yea I know what u mean. and well there are plenty of cute tanks and shirts you can wear to hide that lil wee problem area for now u kno. and keep at it.. shiiit I wish I were a 3! right now Im a 7 OR YEA JUST GO UP ONE MORE SIZE.. I like the 1st pic and the 2nd pic. then 3,4,5 and 7 those either need to go up a size or discarded period cuz they do nuthin for ur cute figure infact they kinda take away from ur figure.. ;/

You look great, but honestly I think number 2 and 4 would be more flattering one size up -- but that's just a personal preference. I think shorts that are a little loose around the legs make people look slimmer.

Your shorts look fine. Get rid of the capris though. It's like they're trying to decide between being shorts and pants but they're stuck in the middle.
