What is it ????0

Googled ha! It looks exactly the same sort of thing as Cambridge , lighter life, lipotrim etc0
-
Thanks Kaz. Yeay, I am on page one of Google, with this question.0

Hi guys, I have just been sent some to try. It is mainly physillium husks and bentonite clay with vitamins. It is zero calorie. I wont use it for a full on meal replacement but will try it between meals to stop snacking, and perhaps one meal replaced per day.0
-
I don't know how I'd feel about drinking clay  .0
-
Looks like one of those mythical "quick fix" scams to me. My mantra: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is :huh:0
-
thanks girls,
i have ordered some, but I agree, it is more of an extra than a meal. surely zero calorie meals are anorexia nervosa?????0 -
Hello! I've just done this for a week and lost about 11lbs and about 5.5". It isn't a scam, it's made in England. I made it into sugar free Jellies which were great. It's just a kickstart to weightloss

Lol, I've drunk bentonite clay and psylium husk concoctions while fasting and, ahem, cleansing. About halfway through the second week you start to feel good, mostly because you've adjusted to starvation rations and since you've nothing to do but sleep away the hunger, you feel very lightheaded and... strangely alert. Sounds like the bootcamp in a bottle diet is the same thing except that the vitamins are mixed in with the rest of the slop rather than being taken as pills alongside all sorts of mucky homeopathic rubbish.
Kickstart... right. You come off the diet starving and ready to murder a hamburger, and possibly your driver after he tells you that he's left your 12 pack of Krispy Kremes on the bloody baggage trolley.
Fibre, however, does fill you up, and if your diet is very low in fibre normally, psyllium husks could be of some help. To avoid paying these people for rubbish, just buy a bag of psyllium husks (can usually be found in the health food aisle of the supermarket, or failing that, head to a health food store) for about $5. Mix a tablespoon into porridge or throw into soups/stews/casseroles.0 -
Actually not starving. It's monitored by the food standards agency so is regulated. It's not expensive. And it worked for me that was all I was saying.

Cool. Hope the company's paying you in more than just instameals to promote their stuff.0 -
Gimmicks are, well ... gimmickey! Slight calorie restriction with good diet of lean proteins, healthy fats and limited grains along with some moderate exercise as a lifestyle will yield a healthy and aesthetically pleasing body.0
-
Thats what I was thinking. Only two posts, just in this thread to promote some random stuff. I'd be very surprised if this isn't someone from that company.0
-
Gosh you are all so suspicious! It just helped me that's all. I've never wanted to post before. I understand about a balanced diet, this was only for a week as I had got a bit stuck. Wasn't promoting it, just replying to the lady that started it. Just cause it worked for me does not mean it will work for everyone. It was just my opinion. I agree with all bpmartyr said but I needed a boost. I have a wedding dress fitting in two weeks.

If there were a magic solution for weight loss, it would be all over the nightly news. People have been promoting magic "kick starts" and weight loss solutions for years. If you want something to fill you up, eat healthy fiber-full foods, and foods containing healthy fats. If you want to eat clay, take a teaspoon, go out to your garden and go for it. In another thread in these forums the founder of Boot Camp writes: "Our product is just designed to get you motivated without any nasty chemicals." Really? What do "nasty chemicals" have to do with motivation?
If you want to eat psyllium to help you control your appetite, there are plenty of high fiber cereals out there containing it, as well as psyllium products you can obtain at your local pharmacy. If you want to eat clay, get a teaspoon and go to your garden.
Here is the summary of Boot Camp In a Bottle from Wooshii:
http://wooshii.co.uk/projects/594/boot-camp-in-a-bottle
Note the following: "...the psyllium sweeps through your digestive system and clears out years of fecal matter that have not been digested and have blocked up the effectiveness of your digestive system..." Complete and utter bull. There is no "years of fecal matter" blocking your digestive system ... this claim is pure quackery. See:
http://www.everydayhealth.com/blog/zimney-health-and-medical-news-you-can-use/colon-cleansing-is-a-waste-of-time-money-and-effort/
A quote from the above: "...I used to be a pathologist and I personally performed over 1000 autopsies (and witnessed many thousands of others), which means that I got to look inside the intestines of many people ... So I know from first-hand experience that people are not loaded with toxic residue, not carrying excess pounds of colonic waste and not encrusted with caked-on stool that’s hard to remove."
Who do you really want to believe ... a pathologist who's actually looked inside a human body or your Uncle Fred who's making his magic weight loss project in his garage? I mean, really.0 -
Hi I have recently received BCIAB it took nearly 3 months to arrive. I am starting it today but am having one
Healthy meal a day. I have 21lbs to lose to get into a dress for a wedding in April. I am also using my fitness pal which I have
Done since jan2nd. Have lost 6lb so far but need to lose another 21lb.
I have done lipotrim before and lost a lot of weight this sounds similar but be careful because if you don't stick to a healthy diet the weight easily goes back on hence my predicament0 -
those things have been in products by Dr. Schulze for awhile. I beleive two different products contain those two things, psyllium husks and bentonite clay. they have something to do with bowels I think?0

Hello Millie
I'm on my second bottle now. It's the only thing I've found that's worked. I'm doing it as well as healthy eating. I didn't pile the weight back on afterwards. It was just a long wait as they had stock issues. I think it will have to be part of my diet forever. I've lost 5lbs in 3 days which I think mentally just gives me the push I need to keep going.
I don't drink it as it is though, I mix it with squash, or with options hot chocolate then put it in the fridge to make a pudding using my blender. I don't do lumpy drinks! I've also mad it with sugar free jellies as well which are not bad
Hope you do well on it
Add me as a friend if you want

Hi, recieved boot camp in a bottle a few weeks ago, only tried it once and could not drink it like clay at all! Could you share some the ways in which you added it to things? Thank you0
-
LOL so is the "bootcamp" part where you're running and then squatting on the toilet?
This is just a laxative with a silly name.
Eat human food in reasonable amounts, exercise, and be patient. The weight comes off! It's really simple and there's no need for laxatives or any sort of diet gimmick.0 -
i have previously used boot camp in a bottle, for 7 days, as a full meal replacement, the first day is the hardest as you have to get used to not eating, i had about 5 glasses a day, it tastes horrible but if you mix it with black currant it tastes abit better, if it did get abit hard i would snack on cucumber or tomatoes once a day, but it really does work, i lost 8lb overall in 1 week, and kept the weight off by eating healthy and exercising after, its just a great way to kickstart weight loss and give you some motivation that it is possible to shed the pounds!! lol0

Thanks for posting this. I ordered mine a month ago!!!0
-
Has anyone ordered bootcamp in a bottle lately? I ordered three weeks ago have emailed 3 times and tried to contact by phone but get same message each time. just wondering if I been conned and if they do exist or should I try to get my payment back?0
-
I haven't contacted them recently, but I ordered from them summer 2012 and they had suddenly become massively popular and couldn't fulfill their orders in the timescale promised. In the end I got a refund. But months later they sent me a complementary bottle, so its definitely a real thing. When I asked for a refund I contacted sales@bootcampfoods.com and got a quick response so perhaps try that address if you haven't already. I seem to remember never being able to get through to anyone over the phone.0
