    Hi-
I haven't been on in awhile. A quick glance at the recents posts suggest that I'm no tthe only one having toruble this month. I was doing fine until the holiday. We had a full house here, non-stop fun and food. Oh well. I enjoyed the whole week-end. Now I have to get back on track. Will be hard since we have another big pool party.
Got to go. My husband needs my help.
Have a good night, and welcome to m0_0m.

I haven't been here for a couple days but I wanted to stop by and say "hi" to everyone. Welcome to all the new peeps. This is a great challenge. I'm still doing good, at this point I'm trying to NOT think about the challenge as then it will become something like a "diet" has always been to me. Where I'm "on" it or I'm "off" it. Make sense?

Last night was a little tough for me. My fiancee had to work late so I was up just waiting for him. I had the kids all ready for today, they were bathed, brushed, etc and asleep. My work out was done and I was tired. But I wanted to stay up for him. I just wanted to eat. I headed for the kitchen. I thought to myself do I really want to eat something at midnight when I just got done with my work out and I've done so good all day. I will just go to sleep on it. That did it, I turned around headed for the bedroom and started dusting, LOL. Nah, I crawled into bed with my laptop and stayed on this site (a real deterent) until he got home. :drinker:

    I hope you're all well.

    Great job Carmen!!
    Welcome to nevar257!!
I'm happy to see we have familiar faces and new ones joining us all the time. It helps to keep me going.
Tonight is my new Day 1. So far so good. (I should be set for the night after eating pizza for dinner and a couple other goodies I don't even want to mention  .Let me just say that Dunkin Donuts franchises should NOT be allowed in supermarkets!!:explode: )
Good luck everyone. Stay out of your kitchens tonight.

Carmen: Good job on avoiding the temptation. Did you see us giving you the stern look? Something close to this :grumble: ?

Zaza: I agree, No donut shop should be so easily accessible

Day 3 down for me. We can do this!

    Hi-
I made it through last night, but barely. So, tonight will be my Day 3. I hope I remember not to sample any of the goodies we're making for our big pool party tomorrow.
    Have a great week-end!

So I'm not perfect. 38 nights in a row, I think? Well, we went out for ice cream on the 39th night and the 40th night.:grumble:

I managed not to snack yesterday so tonight will be Day 2.

Hope all of you are doing well. Welcome to all the new people! This thread is really helpful!:drinker:

    Good morning-
It's such a beautiful day that I cna't be bummed that I blew it again this week-end. It was such a great week-end that I don't even care. Today is a new day, no one is here and I'll do better on calories and NO late night snacking. So, tonight will be my new Day 1. I'm going straight to the end of the month so watch out!! I mean it.
    How is everyone else doing?

I have gone 5 days without snacking at night. I'm back on track now. It's more the "daytime snacking" that I'm worried about!

    How's everyone doing?

I have stayed committed all month but tomorrow I start a 3 day fast no food from 6am-6pm so unfortunately over these next 3 days I will be eating after 8:30 :grumble:

I would love to join with this challenge...nighttime is my worst time for eating, only because I am tired and like to read and eat even when I'm not hungry!
I am going to start tomorrow evening since I have already consumed my 10pm snack tonight!!
    8:30pm is my cutoff.
    Wish me luck,
    Kim

    Starting over . . . again.

Had an early dinner last night. Was hungry later, so I wen tout for ice cream. I got the sugar-free one with read fruit, so I'm happy even though I snacked past my cutoff.

    Good morning-
Welcome Kim!! This is a hard challenge, but a good one (if you can stick to it  ). I've had months of practice and still can't seem to get it right. We had week-end houseguests and a family medical emergency that were distracting and so mfp went by the wayside.
Anyway, I'm back on board for this challenge for the umpteenth time.

fitgal411, glad to see you're hanging in there too.

Keyisha, I wouldn't consider eating past your cut-off during the fast as a break in the number of days without late night snacking- you have simply reversed your day and night. So, keep counting without any break in the number of days you've stuck to the challenge. Good luck.:flowerforyou:

Hope everyone else is doing OK.

So . . . where did everybody go?! Did we give up just because it's summer? Do motivated, determined people do that?

    NO!

    So . . . I, uh, guess I'm not motivated and determined . . . :blushing:

I went to the movies and remembered the challenge AFTER I was already halfway through the popcorn bucket.:embarassed:

But you know what? I will try harder, because I am determined to succeed, and I hope all of you will join me again. There is still 6 days left of the month, and I want to have 6 consecutive nights by August 1st.

    Wow . . . that felt good.

    Hi-
I apologize. :blushing: Summer and other issues have been very distracting and I have not been on mfp much. At best, I occasionally logged food.:ohwell:
It was probably time for a break anyway, but I'll start the challenge again this fall. Hope you will all come back.:flowerforyou:
Take care and enjoy the rest of your summer.
