I've met my goal!

I weighed myself not too long ago and I have reached my final weight goal of 125 pounds... Yay!
I have reached 125 before but was unable to maintain it b/c of the holidays (cannot resist moms cooking). I am determined to get more active, stay @ this weight & get toned. I might gain some muscle weight but that's ok with me. Does anyone have some tips on toning? I still have some rollie-pollies on my hips, thighs and belly but it's so hard to slim those areas down. Suggestions please!:ohwell:

I've been using these workouts (thanks to mehughes) and they are really good. I do three sets instead of two. If you sign up, they send you a new workout each week, which I love.0 -

I've lost 11 pounds since I started last August.. I know, I know.. that's so little for the amount of time I've been here but that's all I had to lose. I gained some and lost.. and gained and lost. I lost about 10 pounds before joinging MFP.
I will for sure try better to keep it off.

It was very hard at times and thought of giving up many times but I didn't want to let myself down again and start all over when I finally came to my senses. I need a whole new wardrobe. All the clothes from last year are way too big for me. I'm a size 6 or 7!

I think everyone else had more faith in me than I did so thank you.

Congradulation!!!!!! I am so happy for you! :flowerforyou:
For toning try adding weights to your workouts. If you already use weights up the lbs. Squats are great for the butt and legs and I just ordered this dvd for Crunchless abs. http://www.crunchlessabs.com/
I hope it works, I am trying to get rid of that belly for the summer!0 -
Thank you somuch Jody.
I will contionue my squats & leg lifts.... hope I see some sort of result soon.

Congrats!! :drinker: For toning try Pilates. I've been doing it and it has helped alot. They have videos that use small weights and they focus on your core, waist and legs. It's a very good workout. Good luck in maintaining.0
