Couldn't believe that I had forgotten to set my alarm.:embarassed: But my inner alarm must have known and I woke up 20 min. before the alarm would have gone off. I got in my Shred workout and a 25 min. Run/Walk. Going to the Harry Potter movie tonight, and probably out to eat with our friends. Always nice to know I have that workout out of the way. :drinker:
AmyT - Another morning down, and you can enjoy your evening with your BF. :flowerforyou:0 -
lvnascar you're lucky your inner alarm works so well. I would have never been able to do that if I had forgotten to set my alarm. Sounds like you're doing great with your workouts in the morning, keep it up!
I did enjoy the night with my boyfriend. We took their dog on a 2 mile walk so I got some cardio in. I made my boyfriend walk as fast as me so I would actually burn some calories
I'm off to make food since I haven't eaten since 6:30 last night. I slept until 11-11:30 this morning :laugh:0 -
This weekend I managed to get myself out of bed and get my Shred workouts done. This morning was another day of Shred and a 23 min. interval run. How did everyone do on getting in their morning workout. I know after this 30 days of the Shred I will so love one day of not getting up to workout.
Amy, Nice that you where getting your boyfriend to keep up with your fast pace.

Its been a bad weekend but I can't beat myself up for it-just pick up and do it again! My weekly goals this week are to get up early again and do my tapes or cardio routines. Also to track foods and work out on the weekends--this is my biggest weakness!
Good job to all of you who were sunrise warriors :happy:0 -
This weekend I slept until like 11:30 both days. So no morning workouts. I did walk 2 miles with my mom and our dog on Saturday though. Sunday became a rest day. I just couldn't bring myself to get out of the house or get dressed. Wasn't feeling so great this weekend, not sick or anything thankfully.
Wednesday will be my next day to get up to do a work out. I'll check tomorrow I'm sure to keep you guys motivated!0 -
I am sorry to announce I did not get up this morning to excersize. Its been horrible trying to find my motivation to loose weight I still make and effort all day while I am at work with eating right but the moment I get home I stuff myface and make excuses. I need to find an outlet for my stress cuz I am letting it get to me. I wish you all the best0
-
nhendri, Sorry to hear that you are getting frustrated. You are not giving up are you? :noway:
Amy, Thanks for keeping us all motivated!
Celestia, What a great attitude, and I'm here to help with the motivation also.
This morning was Level 2 of the Shred, and 20 min of kickboxing. Keep up the great work everyone.

Oh I love summer I was able to get up this morning and do yoga with the sun rise what an awesome morning. I hope all of you are doing well!! Keep up the good work!!:happy:0

So yesterday I was feeling super tired all day. I decided to go to bed early. I was in bed by 8:45 and sleeping by 9:30. I couldn't get out of bed this morning until 6:40 even with going to bed early. I was that tired!! So needless to say I did not get up and do a work out before coming to work :grumble: I guess there is always Friday.
nhendri - Sounds like an amazing way to start your day!
lvnascar - I'm glad I can keep you all motivated even though I can't keep myself motivated
Celestia - How're things going for you this week?0 -
Got my Shred workout and a 20 min run in. Sure was hard getting up this morning. Just glad vacation is headed around the corner.
AmyT - Yes there is always Friday!
nhendri - Glad your day started out so good.0 -
Good Morning all! Today was another good start if only I could learn some self control when it comes to dinner time and the 2-4 servings Iv been eating lol Just another challenge for me to overcome. I am glad to see were staying motivated and were all working towards pur healthy lifestyle!!!0
-
Another morning with Shred Level 2 down! Only 2 more days at this level then on to Level 3. :drinker: Can't believe that I have been doing the Shred for 18 days straight. I will probably be getting my kickboxing in after work. Had to take the dog to doggy daycare.
nhendri, I think evenings are the hardest. Try eating raw veggies before the meal to fill you up, that might help with eating more than you want to. I feel veggies are freebies. I have celery and carrots on hand just to munch.0 -
Another morning with Level 2 of the Shred finished, and 23 min run. Hope everyone was able to get up and workout this morning.0

I kinda sorta fell off the wagon. I've had 4 days of doing nothing and was eating not so good Saturday and Sunday. I got back on the better eating wagon yesterday but didn't get back to working out :grumble:
I am planning to make an appointment to see the doctor about my wrist which has been holding me back from doing strength training that needs me to put weight on my wrist (like push ups and such)
I am getting back on the exercise wagon today though!!! Hopefully tomorrow I'll find something I can do for strength training in the morning before work.
lvnascar - WhooHoo :drinker: 18 days of the shred!! That's amazing!! Keep it up!!!
I hope everyone is doing well!!0 -
Sorry guys! i've fallen off the wagon but I'm ready to start again tomorrow! For the days that I don't wake up, I work out in the afternoon. So I make sure I get a work out in if I snooze through the morning. Tomorrow my work out plan is HIIT in the morning before work and a P90X Legs and Back dvd after work. I will report tomorrow! Good luck to all those who are keeping strong0
-
Well today was my day to get up early and do strength training. I got out of bed early enough but I didn't actually do the strength training. I plan to do the strength training tonight after I get home from my softball game. I don't know why I couldn't do it...:grumble:
Celestia - Glad to hear you're getting back on the wagon. I fell off too and got back on last night but didn't get on the morning workout wagon yet  You got this though!0 -
Hi Everyone! Happy to report I got up early today and did my HIIT exercise
I have created a work out plan and my wake up early days are Mondays and Wednesdays.
Stay strong everyone!0 -
Well I wasn't a very good girl while on vacation. But it was vacation. I only worked out once, because I enjoyed sleeping way to much. But today I'm back on track with Level 3 of 30 Day Shred and 30 min. of running.0
-
I didn't get up to work out early today, I scheduled myself for a 6:30 run, but couldn't make it...so tired :grumble: I will report how the rest of this week goes!
To Breakfast Club: The next day is a great day to start over and rise to the occasion0 -
Another day of the Shred and 20 min. of kickboxing are done.
Celestria: Love the quote!0 -
Sorry I've been missing from the thread....
Haven't been up early to work out in a while...can't remember when it was even  I went to Fudd Fest Thursday-Sunday so I didn't work out at all even though Friday I was up at 6am when I had no reason to be. I didn't get back to working out yet since I got home a little late and have been low on sleep with the vacation and stuff. I do have practice tonight and tomorrow so I will be getting a work out in today, just not an early one.
I hope everyone is doing great and had a great weekend!0 -
I've been missing the Breakfast Club for a long time :grumble:
I just have gotten into a staying up late waking up late for work routine that is killing my ambitions to work out early. I got up early and worked out a few times and REALLY liked the feeling I got and the fact that I didn't have to work out in the afternoon after a long day at the office. My problem is going to bed early enough to wake up early enough....I will start up again and not fail the team or myself!
I'm right there with you Amy! I'm not an early one either....0 -
This morning I got up at 6am, went for a walk/jog for 30 minutes, and was in the shower by 7:10. I feel so proud of myself that I finally got up to do something!! One of my goals for September is to complete weeks 1-4 of the couch to 5k program. The way I have my workouts scheduled I will get up on Wednesday mornings for sure to do a workout but then Friday and Sunday are up in the air when I'll actually do the workouts. I'm going to shoot for doing them in the morning so I can't find excuses later in the day to not workout. The hardest part will be Sundays if my boyfriend Nate is home from school. If he is I'm sure I'll be going to his house or he'll be coming to mine to say our good-byes and stuff. If that's the case then I'll have to really push myself to get my workout done after he leaves.
I finally feel like I have a good plan in place, now I just need to follow through with it.
I hope everyone starts posting again!! Good to see you back Celestia!!0 -
I think pretty soon I'm no longer going to be a Breakfast Club member. When I did my workout Wednesday morning it was a cool 45 degrees and I was noticing that the leaves were changing colors already. This reminded me that pretty soon here in Wisconsin it's going to be getting pretty cold and the snow will fly eventually. I've decided to try the gym at school and use the treadmill once a friend can show me where it isI won't be doing workouts in the morning though except maybe on Fridays and Sundays because I don't want to workout before having class.
I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!!0 -
I wish I could work out in the morning. It was always my favorite time and came easy to me. Unfortuntely, I work out of town and would have to get up at 5am at the latest. I've tried... but it's just too early.0
-
Sorry to hear that 5am doesn't work out as a good work out time for you. I don't think I would be able to manage that either :laugh:0
